Blood vessels are all over the body and they are part of the circulatory system. They are used to transport blood to places in the body. The most important are arteries and veins. There are other classifications too. Types of other blood vessels: aorta – carries blood out of the heart, arterioles, capillaries (smallest ones), venules, etc. They play a big role in every disease.
