Methadone is an outdated method to get clean off of opiate pain meds or heroin. Nowadays there are two pills that work much better: Suboxone and Subutex. For heavy addiction, Suboxone is the ticket to getting totally clean with minimal to no side effects! Just don't take it for more than a week. But within a week you'll be totally clean, rest is the mental part of the addiction which requires a lifestyle change to create new habits so you don't fall into old, bad habits.

No disrespect, but this comment is stupid. You say you would never do heroin that's your first mistake you are not above addiction. You get your pills for "free" nothing comes free so it leads me to believe that your sleeping with people for the drug and if your doing that don't tell me if you can't get a blue and heroin was accessible and you were feeling sick that you wouldn't do it. You would.

Totally Agree! How nice of you to warn people and did not sugar coat anything! Need more people like you who really care enough about people to warn them truthfully! It has defiantly become a problem and destroying and taking life's. ...just like most things ..it leads to someone making money! Greed. Hope your life is what you want it to be!

Sorry to hear that. Oxycodone is nothing to mess with. They are the most bioavailable of all the opiates, snorting them will not get you higher but will give you a serious jones. I need to take these things and I am thankful that I have them but I wish I did not need them. As a party drug I know the appeal all too well but you better have some serious willpower to keep that sh*t intact! Opiate addiction is a nightmare, just wait for that day when you don't have any left and see how you feel. In this day and age there really is no shame so do yourself a huge favor and ask for help. I highly recommend that you don't ever go down that road it is pure torture on your mind. Do it long enough and you can watch your life go right down the drain. Oh, it will never happen to me you say. Well, let me tell you we all say that. Look around at all you love and ask yourself if you really want to lose it all because unless you have a strong support network you are going to be living a nightmare. Hopefully one day you are going to make up your mind to get clean and ask for help. Cold turkey is very difficult. You will feel like you have the worst case of the flu ever with every demon in your head screaming and in the back of your mind there will be that thought well maybe I should take just one which turns into 5 when you breakdown. You will feel like your body is on fire, you pull off the blankets and then you freeze. Back and forth it goes while you are hating yourself and it is days and days of that sh*t. It is not even close to being worth it. If you do decide to go ahead and take them please do not snort them or you will be addicted before you know what happened! Good luck...

I totally agree w almost everything u said. And its nice to see posts like this. But Suboxone isnt a complete miracle. no doubt, it helps w detox, and better then methadone, but had def draw backs. Never got into pills, too broke, :-/, went straight to heroin at 15 years old and been struggling w it for 15 years now, weird to think i literally wasted half my life on that sh*t. But your right, when i was like 17 this AMAZING orange pill, that taste like sh*t (especially when ur sick) now the strips. after overdosing several times and losing every one important to me , i went on it and it worked miracles. i just wouldnt suggest talking it for too long, it also is addictive, and kicking suboxone for me was shitty. Not nearly as bad as heroin, milder, but WAAAY longer detox. Sleep didnt happen for me for about a month off subs, at least more than 10mins at a time lol. the other times i was on it, it was only for 4-5days in facilities. But suboxone is def the lesser of the evils. Congrats on ur clean time, thats cool sh*t :-)

Hey man, everything you said has really hit home with me, unfortunately. I am 24 years old and have been using perk 30s for over a year now. I hate what I have become and it has really taken a toll on every aspect of my life. Sometimes I hate myself bc I have become a loser and have nothing to show for myself. They help me cope with the pain tho and I know that is not a good excuse but it is the God honest truth. I wish I never started but for me now it is too late. Just know you're not alone buddy, there are many people like you that suffer from this addiction. I wish you all the best
