I just found out in July after x-rays checking for blood clots, that I have no pancreas. I never had one, I was simply born without. 25 years old and I discover this. The doctors acted as though this is no big deal. But I am wondering... will this cause me problems down the road?

Hi Guest,
It's very uncommon.
It produces several important hormones including insulin and glucagon. These help you extract and use energy from food. More than likely you are diabetic.
As long as you keep things under control you should be OK.
