both fallopian tubes removed

hi,,, I had my tubes removed do to being damaged and both clogged, im 45 years old and pregnant for the first time in my life. I did ivf and I am 3 weeks pregnant via embryo transfer,, I used a doner egg do to my age, I needed to choose between a head and heart decision for the best viable pregnancy I could have, Using my own eggs , could bring more hard things , such as downsyndrome and other things, TRY IVF.

I had my fallopian tubes removed and was wondering if anyone could tell me why you can't use tampons for 6 weeks? Thanks!
