I am 19 years old and sexually active. I do not have any STD's or is there any chance of me having any. I am not pregnant and never have been.
For the past week, I have been experiencing severe abdominal pain, worse then cramps. I have also been experiencing an unusual discharge. The discharge looks like soaked toliet paper bunched up in my panties, with a brown color to it. It has no odor and there is no pain when passing it. The amounts are very large, about the size and length of my thumb! My period is not due for another few weeks, and this is DEFIENTLY not spotting. Please help me out so I can go to the ER/Doctor if needed.
P.S. I was also taking metronidazole(antibiotic) for a BV infection about a week ago. Everything is all cleared up and back to normal, except for the problems I have been experiencing :-(
It may be thrush, Antibiotics can cause thrush to appear and in the past I have also had thick discharge similar to what you described, go see a doctor though and they can give you topical treatment.
