Hello, I'm 19 and have a slight problem. On my leg, just under where my testicles sit, I have a bruise that won't go away. It's been there for at least a couple months now. It's on the inner part of my leg, and at times becomes really itchy. Also, on my other leg (where it meets my body), I have another bruise. This one looks like it is from a pulled muscle (as if I stretched my leg too far) because it started right where my body meets my leg, and goes downward about an inch on my leg (no more than a CM wide).
Should I be worried about these bruises? The second one I’m not worried about too much, but the first is weird because it hasn’t gone away in a while and is itchy.
I also haven’t had much sex recently, so I’m not sure if this could be an STD (Unless it takes a while to develop?).
Thanks for your help.

Are you doing anything that could have caused the bruising? My wife noticed two strange bruises on my back and for some time we could not figure out where they came from. Then, one day at the gym while pressing some heavy dumb bells I could feel the pain in the location of the bruises. Apparently the weight was pushing the bench into my back when pressing and I did not feel it.

Bruising is a natural occurrence. If it happens often it could me something more but most of the time it is just from an injury. basically you've got dead protein under the skin that the body will break down over time. You need something that will help speed that process up. This product called BruiseMD will be better for you. It has active enzymes that work to break down the dead protein. This will reduce the bruise, reduce the pain, reduce the discoloration. It is also all natural so it is safe for everyone, even kids.

These are all good options for advice.
Certainly, I'd try to wash up, and then use something for jock itch at the very least.
As for breaking down protein, that makes sense, but how important is it to you to remove a bruise? Is it getting in the way? Is someone going to see it? Are you worried your girlfriend is going to get turned off by the appearance?
I'd give it some time to reduce naturally.
PS: Have you been riding a 10 speed bike or racing on a cycle recently?
A raised seat can cause some of this discomfort also.
