My norm is using the bathroom only once every 4 or 5 days. That said its been that way a long long time my familial norm.
Now I'm having events of feeling I'm about to throw up, feeling like I am going to pass out, then an enormous belch and it all goes away. Belching or burps is becoming the norm so not me. Dr says Prilosv. Tried it for a few weeks did not eliminate the symptoms. sonetimes I feel that my heart is racing. So worried that something is going on that no one is noticing!

These sound exactly like symptoms I've been having for about two months. I haven't had nearly the number of tests that you have had, but I think I just discovered the culprit.

Is your tap water fluoridated? Do you drink a lot of tap water every day? Or, perhaps, to you take really, really long showers or baths?

I have recently been getting an education about water fluoridation, and to my shock and amazement, it is not the benign public health program that we've been led to believe. Well, the onset of these symptoms, I realized a few days ago, coincided very closely with a new habit I'd gotten into: taking long baths late at night. In fact, some nights, I even fell asleep, and spent several hours in the water! I'd wake up every hour or so when the water got cold, and just drain a bit and add hot water back, and fall asleep again.

So I looked it up, and, yes, fluoride can (and does) get absorbed through the skin. So, I think I've been suffering from acute fluoride poisoning! I stopped the baths about three days ago, and the belching is gone, but I don't feel 100% myself yet -- hopefully soon.

I am wondering if you people may have one of the rare auto-inflammatory syndromes. I have the same symptoms as you have been describing. An endoscope years ago revealed inflamed stomach for no obvious reason. And I practically faint every time I burp. And I have CAPS.

I have had burping and lightheaded ness with it for years. I am female 60 years old. I have never drank alcohol or used drugs other than prescribed by physicians. I went for many tests. All came back normal. Was told I may have acid reflux Took medications. Maybe helped a little with pain but not with burping and lightheaded ness. I do have IBS. Nothing ever seemed to help until I read a book called “Swiss detox diet”. I went on this diet and after a while the burbs like totally stopped. I was flabbergasted. Idk if it was because I was so acidic or had allergies to certain foods I was eating but I felt incredibly better. I have since gone back to my old ways of eating with some restrictions. Point is the bloating burping and lightheadedness have returned. It is not a totally easy diet to follow and life lately has made it more difficult but I’m going to have to try it again. I’ve gotten miserable all over again. It really is wonderful to actually have good days. I also lost about 15 pounds of fat. And gained energy. I weighed about 150 when I started and wasn’t even trying to loose weight I can’t see how it could harm but everyone needs to take into consideration their dietary needs and maybe look into this. Hope it helps. Oops. Just burped. Up in the night feeding the wood stove. Not eating. Just burping. Ugh. Good wishes to everyone.

I started a new medicine which caused a whole different structure to my breathing pattern and sleeping I began to have sleep apnea and subsequent over abundance of C02. I was getting super sick from it and went to 4 emergency rooms before my sister sat all night with a pulse oxemeter and found I was actually barely breathing at night and holding my breath for long periods of time. The doctors were of no help when i told them I get extremely sick, blood pressure goes up , heart rate and stomach pain light headedness and pins and needles in my arms and hands - they told me to take anti anxiety meds but they would not give me a blood ox test which I needed to determine how muhc C02 was built up in my blood - now for the relief - Burping - it removes the C02 from your system , coughing gives a nice blast out of it as well. after 3 or 4 of these huge whompping belly burps all my symptoms would go away even my blood pressure would lower - yes there is anxiety when you no longer understand your body but I find myself chest breathing fast in between holing breath which is increasing the C02 in my blood by the way is carbon monoxide so if your a breath holder or hypoventilator under stress it will only increase your C02 ... the burps are a release!!

I am not a doctor, so I have an open mind. And I read as many medical research findings that I can. (Like, laboratory technician write-ups)

Sounds to me like you all are experiencing either A) ketoacidosis of an idiopathic variety. Or B) you have variants of parasites that result in prion diseases.

I'm amazed these "doctors" haven't suggested probiotics. Take LOTS OF PROBIOTICS and see if it helps. If not, try insulin. One of those has got to be the ticket.

i read these posts a year ago because i had the lightheadedness and both my doctors had no clue what was causing it.through pure luck one day i realised it only occured after i eat when my body would be full of trapped wind.i started doing some simple exercises like side to side movement and my body would start releasing the wind through both my orifices and the problem would go away.it was a real worry at one time but now i know exactly what to do,happy days for me and i hope this might help some of you guys out there

the problem would go away

I have the same - Bloating, burping, more recently and increasingly light headed feeling.
At times the build-up of gut gas can cause palpitations (it is pressing on my heart) and a feeling like I might be going to have a heart attack... usually followed by an unreasonably large burp from deep down which resets everything for a while.
Acid reflux is certainly a significant component in the whole issue.
CAFFEINE is a major cause of severe acid indigestion for me (like an allergy) - after drinking coffee, tea , caffeinated soft drinks - over the following couple of days or weeks, I get serious heartburn that can make me quite ill.
When I mentioned this to a doctor during an unrelated consultation he told me that caffeine disables 'sensors' in the stomach that detect and help to regulate acid production.

I rarely drink alcohol, and have not smoked for 18 years and generally try to avoid any kind of drugs beyond Aspirin/Paracetamol and Rennies opting for coping strategies where possible.
I do however, have a job that has me sitting in front a computer 8 hours a day 5 days a week after which I feel mentally exhausted and just want to sleep - no desire to exercise.

Lying on my LEFT side allows the gas to escape more easily than sitting or lying on my back or right.

For me, this started getting worse during the Lock-Down and my Wife also started getting similar digestive problems that in her case we narrowed down to an increased sensitivity to dairy (anything cow related) and wheat (those two covers pretty much 90% of a typical western diet). She also suffered a facial rash when these products were consumed. She, however, has physically active work.

I am having difficulty in changing my life-style due to work commitments but I feel sure that if I :
eat less (I eat habitually because I work from home - I weigh 103kg),
avoid bread/wheat,
Reduce carbs
Reduce Proteins (causes increased production of digestive enzymes)
Make better use of pro-biotics and fruit/veg
EXERCISE MORE (I recall a colleague some years ago talking about his new dog - because he was out walking the dog he had noticed that his digestive problems went away.)

That this condition will be improved.

I believe this because I have short periods of relief where these things have been the case but it is almost impossible to sustain.
