can abortion cause a bulky uterus after doing it

:'( Im 21 of age in 2006 i did an abortion while i was finishing my matric year, i did that coz i wanted to go to a university, i do regret that day bcoz ever since then its been haunting me , i tried getting pregnant again and i cant then i went to the doctor,
But they told me that i have bulky uterus i dont know what to do i miss my baby and i want another one but i cant have. Please help
