  • "If he wiped it off wouldn’t the sperm be dry and dead?" If he wiped it off, it wouldn't be there!
  • "I'm fertile because the first day of my last period was may 29 and this happen June 12." If you have a 28-day cycle, June 12 would likely have been Ovulation Day. A 27-day cycle or less - not likely a fertile day
  • Chances of pregnancy seem very low.

Hi i created another account because i forgot my password. So in this situation where he came on his fingers, wiped it off on a tissue, and then fingered me. he said his hands were dry. i was ovulating that day. it is a week and a day since that happened and since yesterday i have been needing to pee frequently. I know that is a sign of pregnancy but wouldn’t it be too soon since this symptom usually appears at 4-6 weeks? please help

Hi Chrissi.

If 12 June was OD, then your period would be due 26 June. Tomorrow is the typical Implantation Day (but that could vary by 3 days either way.

So technically you could have become pregnant by now, but it is rather early to experience such as pregnancy symptoms.

I think the chances are very low. But can you give some accurate information to help advise you?

  1. What do you mean by "fingering"? What exactly happened?
  2. What were the start-dates of your previous 6 periods?

On the basis of what you have told me so far, I would expect your period to start early next week, but your stressing (freaking out) could delay it.

He fingered me about up to my cervix. I’ve been experiencing abdominal pain and frequent peeing. I have had uti’s in the past but usually when i get them i feel burning all the time and when i have the urge to pee i only get a couple drops and it burns. For the past three days, there has been a little burning, but yesterday there was no burning at all and i just had to pee at least every hour. So this scares me that it’s a symptom of being pregnant. i got tested for a uti and they said it’s likely but i’ve never had a uti like this and if i were preg, wouldn’t i technically be at 4 weeks... because the start of my last period was may 29. could the frequently peeing and some what cramps be in my head? and i’m not sure when my last six periods were i know my last one was April 28. my boyfriend said he didn’t have anything that he felt “wet” but i just don’t know because his hands are always sweaty and he said he just wiped the sweat off. i’m just scared because i was most likely ovulating at the time on june 12 so it wouldn’t it be very easy for the sperm to reach the egg. thanks for your help

if you ovulated on June 12, then implantation would probably only now be happening. The embryo would only be 9 days old. However, your last cycle (28 Apr to 29 May) was 31 days. That could mean that your next period would not be due until 29 June, Ovulation Day would have then been 15 June, so the 6-day-old embryo would be arriving in your uterus today (if fertilisation occurred).

is it possible that these symptoms are just in my head? i’ve been feeling sick all day. doesn’t that happen sometimes if u believe in the symptoms they occur. how soon do symptoms usually take place. i thought frequent urination is in he first trimester something about ur uterus expanding. how can that happen if it just happened on june 12. symptoms would be too early?? i feel sick to my stomach idk if it’s all in my head

I sometimes have had frequent urination, and it's impossible for me to be pregnant!!. Pregnancy symptoms are not usually unique to pregnancy. They are symptoms, not proofs. Feeling sick can be a PMS. Worry can cause nausea.

i’m just scared because technically if i were to be pregnant it would b 4 weeks...and that’s when symptoms start. so symptoms are starting when they r supposed to rlly scare me.

No, it wouldn't be 4 weeks. Even counting 40 weeks gestation, 4 weeks would be the date your period is due. You could only just have had implantation, There are no symptoms that are universally always present. Many pregnancy symptoms are also pre-menstrual symptoms.

so this is probaly just me worrying. i just don’t see how me frequently urinating isn’t a symptom, i rlly don’t know what else it would be. i did have a little bit of cramps but once again those could b in my head although i do know implantation would b today as u said and u can get cramps from that. also, what is gestation? i’m sorry for all the questions but i don’t have anyone that has any information i can talk to one on one so i just look at sites. i’m only 15

Gestation is the length of pregnancy. It is the period (or process) of developing inside the womb between conception and birth. Conception is taken as the fertilisation of the egg. From that moment until the birth, it is usually 38 weeks. However, as the moment of fertilisation is not usually known, estimates are initially made based on a typical cycle of 28 days. 40 weeks from the last period is then the estimated birth date. 4 weeks pregnancy is typically 6 weeks from last menstrual period start (with a 28-day cycle).

No need to apologise for asking questions. If you have not understood what I have written, then please ask for clarification.

so even though i’m experiencing frequent peeing and nausea, i typically shouldn’t because i’m not at 4 weeks yet. so it’s just me worrying ?

I think so. Wait for your period. There's nothing you can do anyway.
