Also having the same issue, quit a about a week ago after being a very heavy / chronic user (no pun intended lol) for about 13 years. Brain seems foggy and I've been VERY tired since I quit.

I have no mota vation... Like u said I can fall asleep any second. I feel lazy and tired. I think I'm gonna be no polar too. It's only my 3rd day. I've done it before but I didn't feel the way I feel now. It's crazy how weed helps but it can also cause problems with the ones you love. I'm happy for those of us who quit.

It's happening to me now.. So is the dizzy after drinking water thing which mimics sick sinus syndrome. The fatigue will go away on its own within 45 to 60 days or can be expedited with exercise.

Normal reaction of your body readjusting. Marijuana is a drug.. you just don't realize it until sh*t like this happens.

Hey dude. I quit smoking weed now almost 5 months ago. I was also a frequent smoker. It does screw you on the long run. I still struggle with bring very tired after quitting weed. But some good advice I can give you that makes it a bit better, become active. I train boxing 5 - 6 days a week. Try going for a morning run, even if it is just like 1 mile. It helps to get some oxygen to your brain that makes you feel more energized. Stay away from things that make you want to smoke again. And also, start taking vitamins in the mornings and also take some Omega 3. It will help for the brain recovery and if you have some short term memory loss. But the best advice I can give to you is simply to be active. It really makes a difference. Hope it helps a bit bud.

Would you agree that sleeping problems would correlate with tiredness the following morning? Or do you just copy and paste information and hold it as your own? With poor interpretation?

What a cocky fool you are "nice try", try at what exactly? Don't assume you're the authority on everything, pretty much everyone I know who smokes weed and has quit says that they rarely dreamt on it and on quitting have gone back to having the vivid dreams they enjoyed before hand.

It goes away buddy. I have been smoking for 20 years. Age ten to now. and have quit several times. The first few days weeks month are rough. But I just over did it on coffee. Drink lots of coffee and soon you'll be so used to it it will even it self out.

@scott..thank god i found your post. I have been feeling the same way and i'm on day 12..and i feel so exhausted and lethargic that i can literally go to sleep just hours after i wake up in the morning. I was starting to think i was starting to think that something was wrong with me as it contradicts the insomia symptom. Hope its over for you now.

Yes! I've read every post here and thought the same thing. I strongly attribute the tiredness to reward system including levels of dopamine and other neurotransmitters. The stuff about toxins is so illogical but I guess I don't fault people too much. We are all trying to make sense of it.

here on 2nd week, only syntome so far is the goddamn sleepiness...i sleep 12 hours and still i have to force my self out of bed.
and yes, most logical answer, is that it is related to unbalanced levels of neurotransmitters. untill brain re-adapts it shall be like this. the timeline is really dependent on each one, has balance on neurotransmitters and ability to re-adapt is unique for each one of us. i pray this will pass fast, but honestly i doubd it since i've been a non-heavy but chronic smoker for 10 years.

anyway, this thread help me a lot, and it has given me force to keep going...it shall pass and i shall feel normal again :)
