can you drink alcohol while taking cephalexin?

As the poster above me has said no, you can’t drink alcohol while using cephalexin. Your health is very important and if you can’t stand few weeks without alcohol than you should ask yourself are you addicted to the alcohol. If you think that you can’t go out without drinking with your friends than don’t go out until you finish with the therapy treatment.

In case you drink alcohol your medication will probably not work the way it should and it can end up in repeating the whole therapy. I am telling you this from experience so don’t think that this is not happening. Wait with drinking until you finish with the therapy.

This is incorrect. I take it three times a day for acne and you can defiantly drink. If it hurts your stomach then dont. But my doctor confirmed there is no actual interaction between it or other popular antibiotics. Sure it could make it less effective or something but you definitely aren’t going to get super ill or die.
