I recently found out that my car had a leak in the exhaust. Before i found out i drove it this way for a year or more. I started having syptoms such as dizziness, feeling that i was going to faint, headaches, blurred vision, confussion, and seeing spots. I am not driving the car anymore but i am still having some of the symptoms. Could being exposed to this for so long, leave lasting symptoms? I found this out on my own. My doctor ran every test she could think of and they were all fine. She then sent me to a nuerologist and all the test she ran on me were fine, then she sent me to a physiciatrist for depression but i was not depressed. I have done some research on carbon monoxide poising and after seeing the symptoms i had my car checked out and sure enough i had several leaks. I was a happy outgoing person before and now i am unhappy and sick 90% of the time. If anyone knows how being exposed could cause lasting symptoms please let me know! :-( :-(
