I have a friend who keeps telling me how Carbostob is good product. I did not have time to ask more about it, because I had something else to do. However, now I am interested what that is, and if it is good or not. I wonder if there is anyone, who might give me info about product called Carbostop. Could it be good and should I use it, I would appreciate someone’s opinion about this.

First, you should know Carbostop is a single component semi rigid polyurethane resin that is a water reactive system of expanding foam with a separate catalyst. Carbostop reacts in the presence of water to form products with various degrees of foaming. Beside this, Carbostop is giving different expansion factors. Carbostop is designed for stopping water seepage, consolidating loose rock formations, and grouting for ground seepage. Not only this, but it is also grouting in running water, sealing construction pits, embankments, or dams, underpinning foundations, and sealing structural cracks. This is an excellent adhesion property, with both mineral and metallic surfaces. Superb elastic properties accommodate considerable movement between its construction components. Carbostop has easy penetration into wet sand, giving high hardness or low expansion factor. It has large volume, no shrinkage, which makes it a very cost effective product. Carbostop is usually injected using a single component injection pump, hoses and packers.
