i myself went through nearly 3 months of worry due to high levels of white cells, i had to endure blood test upon blood test and the wait is very distressing, not only did i have to wait all that time i had to endure the dreaded bone marrow test at the last hurdle to get the all clear. i still get blood test every 3 months for 2 years just to be on safe side
Fortunately, the bone marrow test showed no sign of leukemia and they found no cause except i could have had an infection or that it was caused by smoking,

I had a Candida infection that was caused by repeated rounds of broad spectrum antibiotics for the treatment of swimmer's ear. Candida is NOT a bunch of hooey! It is NOT in your mind-- there are blood tests to check for candida (I just had one done on Sept 6). Candida is NO Joke, and your symptoms sound like the ones I had been suffering with for far too long before a good caring doctor BELIEVED me for once and correctly diagnosed me. DONT GIVE UP!!!

I just had blood tests ran yesterday and my WBC count was 15.3. I'm not anemic and I feel fine. Urine test came back good also. Idk what it can be but my doctor told me to go to urgent care or er as soon as I could. Earlier this month they found a tumor on my spine. From diagnosis til verbal results it was almost 2 weeks. Completely horrifying when u have to wait to see if u have cancer or not. Well I don't do thank god. But now I have the WBC count real high and no other symptoms and I feel perfectly fine. Idk what to do

I have had problems over the past few years with high blood cell counts in the 20000. I am now in my late 20s. My current one being 26,000 with body aches and a head cold. I seriously thought I had the flu. But my test was negative. Each time I have gotten sick and gone to the doctor, blood work is done and my white blood cells have been through the roof. I've mainly been going for sore throats, body aches, coughs, etc. Everytime my WBC is high. I was sent to an oncologist one time for my high wbc and when I got to my appt I had since developed swollen joints with a rash. Oncologist looked at me said it's auto immune. He still did a full work up though, all they could find was inflammation in my body based on my blood work. Went to local rheumatologist, he was puzzled but my symptoms had gone away after a month of being on Prednisone. Eventually I ended up at a local teaching hospital years later, where I was diagnosed with stills disease which is an auto immune disorder. I have only gotten the salmon coloured rash twice which is a main indicator of this disease. It's main onset happens in your late 30s. Almost everytime I get general illness I have to be on a Prednisone taper to help with my illness and bring my WBC back to normal.
