I know there is a whole thread on this already, but for me this has become a pretty massive complication in this surgery. So, my wisdom teeth were removed 3 days ago and my gums looks healthy, pink, not red, healed up already. I’m pretty impressed, they didn’t really bother me at all, other than some aches. What really bothered me, was the fact that my stitches were sewn to the side of my gums, as if by accident, but not only that, a lot of them. To the point where 5 stitches immediately yanked out of my left side, making it swell up to baseball like proportions, along with a MASSIVE gash in the side of my cheek, to the point where when my father looked inside, he began begging me to go to the E.R. The right side had to have a lot of gums taken away, so they have been rather weak, which I guess is why only one stitch yanked out on that side. What’s worse though, is where the stitch is, it’s yanking open the gums for the newly formed socket. I haven’t eaten since the day before surgery, other than about a half a bowl, maybe a full bowl of broth in total. My cheeks are dark red and bloody, I don’t know what to do about this and my dentist is only open like 2-7, Mon-Thurs.
