i too have the same problem. im 15and 6foot . a doctor prescribed me a brace for it. but the thing is i have to wear it ALL THE TIME!like i dont have enough trouble hiding my chest when i dont have the brace on. i only wear the brace when i go to sleep but its still a pain in the butt. i get extremly depressed when somebody points it out or notices it. it also sucks when you have to turn down an invitation by your friend to go to the pool and you dont know what to tell them when they ask why? i had the brace for at least 4-5 months and i can see little to no improvement. this has ruined any chance of me getting a girlfriend and a normal life. but whatever, if this brace doesn't work ill just get surgery for it

I have the same problem, I'm a fifteen year old girl. Because of this bone one of my boobs is facing a different way. i,m very self concious about the way I look. I have considered surgery but from what I've read it doesn't seem to be the best way.%-)

i have the same problem too. I am thirteen. I went to the hospital and they said the bone was their since birth, but the thing is I have never noticed that bone sticking out before. One of my friends are teasing me and it is annoying, but I guess I have to live with it.

I have the exact same thing, I noticed it when i was maybe 6 but apparently my parents had it checked out a long time ago before i could remember with the doctors and my parents told me that they couldn't do anything about it. My little brother (1 year younger than me) had it but then it went away. I am constantly annoyed by it because i don't want to get made fun of when i go swimming so i always wear a shirt when I swim (and by the way if you swim with a dri-fit shirt your shirt doesn't get as soaked). Thankfully the people around my place don't make fun of me, they actually respect me for being able to live with it. I'm happy to know that I'm not the only one with this...btw do any of you experience random pain in the heart area of your chest at random times?

Omg I have this too! I really hate it. As well as that my bottom ribs stick out and I have always thought that it was because maybe I was skinny but I'm actually not. All the other guys at school are skinny but you don't notice it but I am not skinny but look it. When I look down on my chest both bones stick out and it looks horrible. I have always been self consious but now I just do push ups pull ups and bench press. I really don't want it anymore as I hate being not right. I'm 14 btw. Good luck every one, all it is is a birth defect and we have always had it, it's only a bone but if you work out you will get rid of it. :)

I have this chest too. I am 14 years old and ive been having it since i was born. Although like most of you, mine doesnt hurt. And not only that but i can move it. I get to push it outwards or suck it in. Its really weird but unique. I do work out so my chest blends in.
