I have been randomly committing for 6wks, feeling terrible, some abdomfoods pain a few hours after eating, bloating, and burping frequently. I too was recently told I have an inflamed stomach/ gastritis. I am now taking Tecta to reduce my stomach acid. The Dr said my tummy is too volatile right now to do a scope and biopsy.  gets fully it gets better soon so they do the the scope and figure out what is the cause. Does anyone have any suggestions for healing with this condition?

I have found that taking Kefir helps because of the aid of the positive bacteria but again it may not work for everyone and every day is different.  I have just come off of Tecta after months and have been dealing with horrendous GI upset.  I will try chamomile tea and see if that helps the stomach, it generally works for nausea.

GAstitis is healed by smoking medical marijuana or eating eatables that are home made or bought at a medical marijuana shop.

With gastritis, do not eat these foods/drinks: mik, coffee, wine, citrus, tea, liquor, chocolate, fat. None of this is happening to you b/c you had an abortion rather because of the fast food you have eaten. Personally, I have been avoiding these foods and taking a lot of probiotics. My doctor also has me on a pill before I eat and a strong antacid. I am able to function without constant pain. See your doctor and take care of yourself.

my gastritis is characterized by excessive belching . I think i spent a good couple of hours a day belching. This is having such a negative impact on my every day life. I am worried and really want to find a way to cure or atleast improve my condition. If you have any suggestions or advice on how to prevent or reduce belching please let me know! I have done a lot of research on the topic already but everyone has something more to add and it would be very useful to hear what you have to say.

Thank you!

I was diagnosed after pregnancy, I had agonising pain upper abdomen the bloating felt like a band wrapped around my rib cage an upper abdomen and the band would get tighter and tighter like a crushing feeling, I would get fever and nausea, put on omeprazole which over times works as long as you don't miss any or ul get a flare up. Its been a year since and iv not had any problems what I did was drink pure aloe vera juice every morning on an empty stomach I swear by it, its a godsend, I also found camomile tea and peppermint helped, and manuka honey, I found chocolate triggered mine so stayed well away, also spicy foods, and keep taking ur meds, I'm afraid there is no instant pain relief even pain killers take at least 25 mins to work, iv called an ambulance a few times for gas and air when it was real bad, pain relief shots would b great for this if they existed in prescription.

I have had gastritis since January of this year 2014. It was caused by taking anti-inflammatory medication prescribed by an ER doctor (Naproxen). It was horrible. It basically ruined my life for the entire duration of it and that was on top of other physical problems I was having. I was also test for H. Pylori, which was negative. My doctor(s) prescribed me Omeprazole at first. It seemed to help and then the pain of gastritis came back after several months. The pain was pain in the left side, under my rib in the front, pain all across my middle back under the ribs, and nausea every single morning upon wake up and gradually every time after a meal. I was also fatigued and had no appetite. I would a tiny bit and feel bloated and full. I went to another doctor and after having complained that Omeprazole gave me bad side effects (i.e. dizziness, more pain, chest pain, headaches, etc.) he prescribed me Ranitidine, which is not a PPI but an antihistamine. Both do the same thing (reduce acid in the stomach) but do so in different ways. The Ranitidine really didn't do much either, but I only took it for a short while. So, I finally decided that I did not want to continue medication for what could be years (my mother has been on PPIs and she said it takes years to cure....I don't consider 10+ years to be on the road to recovery). Also, I researched that the body needs acid to digest properly, so if you are prohibiting your body from having acid, then you will A) rotting food in the stomach B) lack of absorbed nutrients. Also, when your body is artificially told to stop acid production, your body overcompensates and makes more acid...which is not what you want. So, here's what I did (through extensive research). Now, after having done these things for 2-3 months, I am healed WITHOUT medication. 1. I juiced raw cabbage and carrots and celery for 3 weeks straight (drank 4 cups a day-spread out into smaller portions) 2. during those 3 weeks, I ate smaller portions and nothing with spice, pepper, onions, garlic, chocolate, tomatoes, sugar, beans, legumes, dairy, caffeine, coffee, tea, hot/cold water, wheat bread, or anything super salty. I ate mostly rice porridge, bananas, and cooked vegetables. 3. I drank 5 tablespoons of Kefir everyday 4. I drank 1/2 cup of water mixed with 1 Tbls of Apple Cider Vinegar, and 1 teaspooon of baking soda in the morning and before bed (I did a test of acidity...I drank a teaspoon of ACV and got no heartburn) 5. before every meal, I chewed 1 tablet of DGL (licorice root) (heals the stomach lining). 6. I took a digestive enzyme at least once a day with a meal 7. Cup of bone broth everyday (heals the stomach lining) 8. I never ate past 6pm (at least 4 hours before bed or lying down) 9. light exercise (especially walking) 10. don't drink water or anything while eating (this causes your body to create more acid in the stomach) With the exception of numbers 1 and 2, I do all of the other things still and I am feeling healed and recovered from gastritis. No more pain. Try this if you are wanting to give natural healing a shot....gastritis can be debilitating, but you have to stick to the tips above with no exception and you will see yourself healed hopefully. It's difficult and it may not seem like a quick fix, it's not. I'm not a doctor and this is just my opinion of what works. You should talk to your doctor or a naturopath about this because you may have other health issues that are more serious. But talking to my doctor didn't help. It's your call. I'm telling you my story, because it worked for me. I remember looking at all the sites for help because I was exhausted and run down by gastritis. So this may be some help to you. Good luck and stay strong. The body is amazing at healing if we give it the right conditions.

First of all naproxen is coated and a safe anti inflam with gastritis its nurofen ibuprofen ect that cause problems ones that are not coated, I have these today as I suffer costochonritis in my ribs, they are fine, secondly omeprazole are the best but only work when you take them for some time and keep them up, I had no problems with my stomach since being in them, thirdly I think you have jumped ahead a bit and thought you found a cure because I also tried the juice greens cure it did not work, its only the omeprazole that have helped relieve any symptoms I don't and havnt had any problems for years, keeping ur upper body raised at bed time helps prevent flare ups, there is not instant cure it takes time to heal, though there are things that can help speed up the process like juicing ect.

Juicing act. Do you mean drinking juice the whole day?

i have had chronic gastritis for a long period of time, 50 years old Male,  i would love to know what i did to get this condition,  not much of an alcoholic in my life , but alcohol seems to irritate it, i take PPI  , not sure of the effects i still get pain mostly in the morning, my relief comes in the form of a glass of fresh orange juice, i know that sounds weird, i but i find that it disrupts that cycle of acid production..... i take the oj as religiously as the omeprazole
