I was hit in the eye by the end of a bungee cord. It hit my eyelid when I blinked and left me unable to see out of it for about 90 minutes. I have been to see an ophthalmologist but cannot get a definite answer from him as to the repairability of the ciliary zonule fibers connecting the lens to the muscle. My pupil on that eye does not constrict when under a bright light like the other eye does. I can continuously see the edge of the lens of my left eye. I can see the fibers trying to reach the lens after dark. I also would like to know if the fibers were detached on the other side of my lens, if it would naturally float to the center restoring my vision somewhat.
