Thxxxx so much nursingstudent10193271. But I'm pretty sure all these women have had their period. Wat is wrong with me I've had discharge for nearly 2 years... More like 1 3/4. And nothing. I've never gotten a period. It makes no sense. My mom has told me months ago when I told her about the discharge "oh it means you gonna start soon". But I'm doubting that. I'm more of a late bloomer i 'guess' but my mom, grandma, aunts had started between 11-13. Like I'm fine with just not having one but I'm worried if there's something wrong. (I don't get cramps, SMELLS, or moody. Its been the same since it started. Please help, I don't really talk about this subject.

.....What if you haven't even had your first period yet? I'm 13 in a few months and have lately been having what these other people have described.. Is there something wrong with me? I have been using canesten but it hasn't worked.

When I was pregnant I also had more discharge than usual... It is normal during pregnancy too, that's what your body does to protect itself and keep bacteria from entering through the cervix into the uterus.. That's what the mucus plug is there for too, then extra discharge is the body's way of cleansing itself. (Btw... When that plug comes out, it looks like a freakin jellyfish! So gross looking lol)

No honey. I started having discharges at the age of 11. Your vagina is its own eco system and will work to keep itself clean. Our bodies are all different and will experience things like this with differences. I believe you are fine given the little details described, but would strongly recommend you see a doctor, obgyn, planned parenthood, etc to confirm. Best of luck!

Did you ever find out what this was caused by?

It is completely normal. The only time you should be concerned is if it's yellow and has a bad smell. Clear and stringy just means you're fertile.

Its just that discharge changes over the course of the month because of ovulation. It goes from watery and thin and begins to thicken. I dont think its something seriois as long as ther is no burning or itching, bumps, inflammation etc.
