Hi. I have been on depo for 22 years. I have had no issues. It has worked great for me. However as I’m getting older I’ve thought about getting off it and letting nature do it’s thing. I’m a healthy and active 42 year old. Not concerned about getting not being able to get pregnant. Just Curious of potential side effects of going off depo particularly from folks who had no issues while on it.

I have recently come off nexplanon which is a low progesterone BC after being on for 3 years- withdrawal has been awful for me but partly because I hadn't figured out what was going on. I'm still having symptoms 7 months later.
But a lot of my friends have stopped BC before with no issues. It really depends on how sensitive you are to hormonal changes!
