hair coloring isn't such a problem... I have colored my mom's hair... and I have colored mine... today's hair coloring packages are handy so I think there is no need to go to professional... if you are dying evenly of course - if one wants locks or sth even more complicated it is better to go to a pro... I wouldn't mess with locks..
