Hi I'm 15, and I have had these same cramp sharp pains in my lower right for years
It comes and goes: last year I had a blood test but they told ne it wasn't appendicitis if it's not that then what is it... The other day I couldn't get up I was so sore then it passed sometimes it lasts minutes or hrs
today I'm home mum is not happy about it
but I couldn't walk properly and when I moved too much the pain was unbearable
I don't know what it is it's always constant
I don't have any medical conditions I have never had any kind of surgery I'm usuall always healthy
please help..

I've had the same thing off and on for over a year now. A year and half ago I had Sharp pain to the point I couldnt stand or walk I went inot the ER, and spent a week in the hospital while DR.'s ran this test and that test, in the end my Dr. finally said we are just going to look inside and see what we see. they ended up finding that my intestines were wraped around my appendix which is what was causing all the pain they got things all untwisted. But just a matter of months later I started having pain again in the same area not sure why, but when I went in to my Dr. they found I had a Cyst on my ovary, but it wasnt large enough for surgery. So now I just have random discomfort on my right side as long as I can handle it, and its more of a discomfort and not actual pain I am just dealing with it, hoping its nothing. So there are many things that can be causing this discomfort. Cycts can come and go with your menstral cycle, and can some times not hurt and others it can hurt. If this is something that starts getting more frequent, and starts being more painful I would sugest to go in and get things looked at so at least you will know what it is, and if need be get it taken care of.

I didn't read all the replies or how old this post was but I have something that sounds the same, but mines been going for 6 months.It goes away sometimes fir days sometimes for weeks. I had a doctor look at it and a ct scan. Because the pain goes away and is not as extreme as it was when the doctor first looked at it the do for is saying let's wait and see how it is. It hasn't stopped hurting yet, but the next step is to have a camera down my throut. How is your pain now?

I am a 17 year old female and just recently started to get these weird pains. I had my appendix out 7 or 8 years ago, so I know it's not appendicitis, but it hurts in the exact same place and in a very similar way. It's the only symptom I have, besides the pain I am perfectly fine, but it is still painful enough that I am becoming concerned. For a little over a month now, it used to come weeks apart and only a couple hours at a time, but now I have had it for almost 24 hours straight and it's not going away :/ Not sure if I'm just paranoid or if I should actually go see a doctor...(which I can't afford)

i'm a 13 year old girl and i have been starting to get really sharp pinching pains around my right side (lower) i first got it about 2.5 weeks ago when i woke up in the middle of the night, it felt like a stitch that never went away, after that night it had gone away so i didn't think of it but last night it came back and i couldn';t even get to sleep, it was really painful when i told my mum she said that i probably just have trapped gas but when i searched where it was and how it felt it said that it was one of the symptoms of appendicitis. lately I have not been able to let off it has been about 3 days and when i go to the toilet it hurts really bad and i have dioreah please tell me what to do ?!! thankss

MY PAIN IS ALSO IN SAME AREA AS YOURS...BUT NOT VERY ACUTE...JUST SLIGHT PAIN ON AND OFF., I CAN LIFT MY RIGHT LEG UPTO MY STOMACH....SO THAT MEANS MY CASE NOT VERY SERIOUS., ANY FEEDBACK., ADVICE.????

I'm an 18 year old female, and I had these pains underneath my ribs on the left side of my body for about 2 years now, I then started having them in my 3Rd toe on my left foot, after about a year and a half of getting them in my ribs and I never did anything about it because i just seemed to think it wasn't much of a problem, but then the pains started getting worse, so i asked my mother about it and she said its probably just from a bad diet, so i changed my diet and started eating better but the pains never went and recently I've had the same pain in my hip on the left side of my body, right where your appendix should be. But it's different from the pain underneath my ribs or in my toe,i mean its the same pain, but where the pain is when i touch it, it feels hard like there is a lump there or something...:/ I get the pain in all 3 places at the same time and it will last for ages, sometimes it will come and go, most times it just stays for ages. is there anyone who can help me with this? or should i go and consult my GP now?

Hey.. Your appendix is on ur right hand side.. but pain anywer on ur left sign is not good as it can be a sign of heart problems.. see a doc please.. hope this helps. :)

I am a 13 year old girl and I had the same pain once really bad for no good reason. Just the other day I was running a slight fever. Then lo and behold, I get the pain again. My parents freaked out once but it went away. I keep on getting the pain in a low key though and I want to know what the heck is going on! Pleases some one tell me! :(

im a 16 year old girl and ive been having pain in my appendix in my lower right abdomen. its a sharp pain. it happens randomly and can last from 10 minutes to hours. it hurts weather i sit down or lay down. my mom told me my dad had to have surgery to get it removed, now im freaking out, i dont know if ill need to have surgery!

I have had this same pain for over 2 years. Colonoscopy showed IBS. I'm told it can cause appendix like pain. I only get this pain when I stand too long. Pain killers and muscle relaxers don't seem to help (nor did the IBS med they prescribed) I'm still not 100% sure I agree, though I have has all sorts of other tests run that showed nothing wrong. This is a terrible pain to live with. Anyone else have any clues , ideas or answers?

Hi, I'm 17 years old and for about 3 weeks I have been hurting from my naval to my right hip and below. Sharp pains lasting a couple minutes to around half an hour and now I feel nauseated. Any advice??
