Hi everyone, I was wondering is someone had any idea what's going on. I lost my virginity (female) three weeks ago and ever since have had the constant urge to urinate and it feels like my entire urethra is swollen. I went to the doctors and she said i had an infection and gave me antibiotics - they didn't help and when i went back she said the infection has now gone but the symptoms are still there. It's incredibly uncomfortable and i even went to A&E last night. They tested my urine and confirmed that theres still no infection. Is it possible i bruised my urethra during sex as i was very nervous and quite tense? And if so how long should this last? I feel like its getting worse, not better. I've tried over the counter cystitis medicine and cranberry juice but nothings helping!
