there is no way for you to know for sure if she was ovulating or not....thats the thing..I promsie you her periods are not nor will never be always the exact amount of time apart...no girls is.... there are a number of causes of delayed or early ovulation and unless she is well educated and charts her BBY and cervical mucous correctly or uses ovultion prediiction tests its impossiable for her to know....even if she were to uss thest things they usually show ovulation only after its begun and u add the fact sperm can live another 3 days or so inside a woman "natural" family planning just isn't very effective...Granted, her chances are a bit less if she is signifigantly far aways from her fertile days and as long as you weren't in the day12-16 day timefram (add 3 days on thebegining of that 12 making it 9 days counting from the first day of her last period ( and this is ONLY if her cycles are exactly 28 days apart) then you are probably safe...Likely safe...but there is still that chance and you REALLY should be talking to her about hopefully starting a BCP next month so these types of worries can be a thing of the past....Good luck and IBE SAFE!! Sorry if this is hard to follow byt my 8 month old is sitting on my lap and "helping" me

Even if a girl is "never" early on her period this could still be considered normal...even those with seemingly "normal" and predictable cycles can and will have episodes of early and late bleeding once in a while for no obvious reason at all....However, if you have been having unprotected sex (and if i remember correctly you are) and it has been at least 6 days since the first unprotected action then of course "implantation bleeding" is a possibility...Unfortunately, there really is no way to know without taking a test and the earliest any test will show is 5 days before your period is due...and thats if she is lucky (only 50% or so of testers have accurate results at this time) and generally the only brand that has proven to have this ability in testing is the "first response" test. SO, buy her a Multi- pack...have her take it with her first of the morning urine...and cross your fingers...Even a faint 2nd line is a positive....and if its negative (chances are it will be) wait at least 48 hrs (preferably at least until the day her period is due) and if she doesn't "start" her period then have her test again. If her cycle is late then the first of the morning urine isn't necessary but it does give you a better chance of an accurate result as that is the time of day when the level of the pregnancy hormone would be at its highest....
As I said before...If you luck out this month and she doesn't end up pregnant., seriously consider having her getting on the BCP....It might take her trying a few different brands to find the one that works best for her (giveing her the "least" amount of "side effects"-preferably none at all) and its always best for her to start with the older brands as they have been on the market the longest, the "kinks" have been worked out and millions and millions of woman have had great success with them...When it comes to meds like Yaz its still so new and there has been too many recent complaints on it I wouldn't try it just yet..and Depo has recently been labeled as a "last resort" for birth control for woman as not only are there numerous side effects but a lot of woman have had fertility problems after stopping this form of BC. PLUS, you can't just "stop" it if you have negative side effects...she would be stuck for at least 3 months. OKAY,,,,my "rant" on Birth control is over...just a little education and opinion on it all. Good luck on the whole "is she pregnant" thing and BE SAFE!!!

it doesn't matter "if she never did before" it can still be completely normal and be nothing to worry about...even ovulation can cause spotting out of the blue even if it never did before.. thats a bit close for "implantation" spotting but still in the realm...
AND isnt she due for her "period" ib 2 days anyways?? If your that worried go by her a first response hpt multi pack and have her test first thing in the AM there is about a 90% chance itll be accurate - - she probably just started a little early but who knows- since she just started having intercourse this month changes in her cycle are expected..
