Anything is possible but it sounds like some kind of allergic reaction to something. The pain in his testicle doesn't have to be related to the

I agree. It sounds like a reaction of some sort. The only STD that could be possible would be Genital Herpes but unlikely given you (assumed) age. You can ONLY test for Herpes during an outbreak so go to the doctor ASAP!
