Could you take cocaine regulalry and not get addicted?

Hi coke is not the problem the law is.Coke is way overated I have been given it on occasion but I find it rather dull.I would never pay for it and to put people in prison for its use is just criminal

I started cocaine for cleaning purposes. My kids would get it so messy the only way to really clean and disinfect it properly was to do cocaine and now I can't clean nothing without it. How do I overcome this. How do I find the strength?

Coke is not physically addictive like say tobacco, alcohol or heroin. So the people who have said they did it loads went cold turkey and felt no bad physical reactions are right. But it's massively psychologically addictive. I have researched this because I have an issue with it and am working my way clean. The things to watch out for are not enjoying nights out without it and doing it on your own at home. Your body will not crave it but your mind will and that's what makes it so dangerous (it is of course also an awesome high, which is the cause of the problem!!). If you can't or don't want to just stop (like me - I enjoy a line on a night out like so many people) set yourself boundaries and be ruthless about sticking to them - not mid week, not on your own, no more than 1 gram in any one night, no more than 2 nights a month on it etc. and if you set yourself some boundaries and find yourself breaking them, you know you have a problem (from someone who did just that and is currently sat in home alone and high). My honet advice - if you have an addictive personality, steer very clear cos it's dangerous stuff. If your are nicely in control of your actions, then go for it.

This is spot on. It's a mental not physical addiction so all about the individual. If you have a remotely addictive or controlling personality steer clear. I have a mate who has done it way longer than me but only ever on nights out and he has a never in the week and never after midnight rule, so it works for him fine. He introduced me to it 4 years ago and I am now always at it, at home, on my own, can't have a night out without it. Depends on you. Me? I love it and wish I'd never taken that first line.......

if u use cocaine one day you will be addicted my girl friend use cocaine and im on the edge of leaving her she is a big lier put all her problems on everybody but her self i believe nothing she say as for all yall coming up with these ways claiming you are not addicted dam lie try and stop on your on i bet u cant never trust a woman on cocaine their is no telling what kind of sexual acts she might oull behind your back

Yeh well i first tried coke when i was 16 then again when i was 17. im 19 now and i think ive done it about 3 times in the last 6months. all my friends do cocaine all the time so its so accessible to me. But i say no most of the time, infact i always do say no when i get offered a line. I like mdma i do it every other weekend at raves but cocaine i dont. I have been offfered cocaine sooo many times, people around me with large amounts of coke like they were importing from colombia or something, its any coke lovers dream "go on lisa, have a line of this, its good" but once i again i said "no im fine thanks" almost every weekend i get offered a dabble it would be so easy to just have a little line, but i CAN SAY NO, and thats how i know i am not addicted. Do i like coke? Hmmm i dont think i do, i feel very out of control and i like being in control and keeping my cool colective composure. truth it ive learnt i do not need it. Im very bubbly outgoing and confident. Im also a lightweight so the smallest amount of coke can blow me head off Lol! I guess im one of the lucky ones.

That is very false. Not everybody becomes addicted. It's all about personal strength, mind over matter. I'm a weekend user if that. I can use Thursday Friday and Saturday, not use for 1 month be around it every weekend. Go to the bar and decide to have some blow. And this has been going on for over 22 years. I've been through periods without using for 3 years. It's all in your mind.
