How much does it take to get addicted to opium

Most of my friends are a wild bunch just looking for fun and excitement. Last time we were on party, they smoked opium and fooled around. They even succeeded on making me try some. To be honest, I have never felt like that in my entire life. Still, I do not plan on taking more, even though the idea seems attractive to me. How much does it take to get addicted to opium?

Well, you have said that you wish to try again, that is some sort of addiction, is it not? But, you did not take much and it happened only once, so I think that it is safe to say that you did not develop addiction. You should know though, that one big dose of opium is more then enough to get you addicted, so be careful.

it's the worst crime to insist your friend to try on some drugs that he or she has never taken before. you're not addicted to opium yet but because of your opium intake, you will, for the rest of your life, know that there is something called opium that would give you the ultimate pleasure and pain free moments and that's the first step to addiction so you're already in big trouble. If I were you I would never see those friends again and I would never ever try opium again unless you know for sure that you have less than 2 years to live. it's so pleasant that it should not be even tried once. you can inject natural opium by exercise and running.

Don't fool with it! Wake up to yourself.....they are not your friends and nobody made you do anything. Addiction is not fun, quite the reverse, it is full of pain and hopelessness, it is a dreary habitual way of life with nothing exciting happening ever, you stand to lose everything. Why gamble? Its madness! You don't need a plan to take drugs you need a plan not to take them.

How are all of you so blind? His friends aren't the f*****g collective of Satan for smoking opium and talking him into it. I'm sure there is more to their relationship than one night of illegal drugs.

And anyways, at least now he's had the experience and can see the grey areas of the world a little better than any of the idiots here.

Dude ok i agree these people may be overreacting a little bit. There are two types of addiction one mental and other physical. your are mentaly addicted. Your mind know tht opium has a pleasurable feel when smoked, but your hasnt had enough of the nurotoxins to "need" it and when you reach this point... well im sory your screwed. Im fifteen and ive done everything from weed to ecstacy to coke and im not addicted to anything because i tryed them once but I also if i ever think about doing anything like coke i eas the urge by smoking weed wich gets you high as f**k o.O if you get good buds... MY ADVICE TO YOU IS STAY AWAY FROM ANYTHING THAT CAN GET YOU HOOKED AND COULD KILL YOU IN TIME

PLEASE don't try it again!! My life has been destroyed by this stupid drug!! I am going through withdrawls right now and I want to freaking DIE! I am in so much pain, can't stop crying, just so much BS. The high is NOT worth this!! PLEASE listen to me and everyone else saying don't do it again! It WILL ruin you!!

Just buy some quality kratom, same effects (some people even find it better and it's legal) and the addiction wont really rise higher then your normal caffeine addiction. Be safe and have fun with drugs!

achly opium isent that bad if it wasent addticting its batter then smoking or heroin if u smoke it once in awhile u get stright from the plant u can bye it but u shouldent its mostly likely will be herion smoking opium few times wont be as hard as being hooked on smoking cigs i used to smoke i still feel cravings i know how opium is if u get hooked on it your body will feel shitty if i dont have do to abuse it if pain killers are more harmful then real opium if u do take dont smoke it or inject dont make tea just fucken sollow it u wont be so eassly hooked on it if u do

Hello i am in middle east and i comsumed opium dozens of times just for fun and i am not addicted for sure, but i am telling you even if do not get addicted you become weaker and weaker until someday you see no flames of hope in yourself and see yourself as a 70years old guy.
