My wife is having problem with cholesterol. We have heard that Crestor is exelent medication for controlling cholesterol levels. My aunt is taking it every night and she has no problem with it. But doctor who had examined my wife said that she should not use Crestor. He didnt say why. Can you tell me why it can be?
You didnt give me full information regarding your wife. For instance is she pregnant or breast feeding? If that is the case then she cant use that medication. Also Crestor works by blocking liver from manufacturing cholesterol. If your wife has some kind of liver disease then it is also highly risky taking that medication. Ask him why he think she should not take Crestor.
