I have been dealing with my MC for a few months, I've been very careful and have been using aldera but in my opinion it isn't working very well, i now not only have bumps on my inner thighs and vagina, i also have a couple on my arm neck and chest. Ive been using medical gloves, hand soap/sanitizer (not to the point where its an every minute type thing) washing my towels after every use and using different towels for different areas of my body. I'm getting very frustrated and almost depressed because I'm living on my own and am trying to seek medical help at walk ins because my family doctor is back home. Its distressing to me as a patient when i go to a doctor and they tell me not to worry about it.. and then it just gets worse.. Im going to see the doctor again soon but i doubt that will do any good... I'd love to hear anyone's thoughts on my predicament please. p.s. none of the doctors I've been to ever mentioned this cryo thing..

I have tried ZymaDerm, freezing, and the "pop and remove" method. ZymaDerm will kill the virus, but probably leave you with contact dermatitis, which makes it more trouble that it is worth, in my opinion. Freezing works the best, and is probably also the quickest way to being fully recovered. If you catch them early, the "pop and remove" method can be effective as well. The longer that white waxy virus area has a chance to make contact with other areas, the more likely your problem will develop into a bigger one.
My understand of why the virus is not attacked by your immune system is that it remains isolated in outer layers of your skin. When you "pop and remove", you also introduce blood to the area, and then your immune system can go to work.
There are worse things, obviously. This can be treated and eliminated, and is not life-threatening.

just went to a dermo today and had the liquid nitrogen treatment done. I had about 50 (gross). I actually have another appointment with a different dermo scheduled 10 days from now, and another with this same one in another 20 days. I've had this since February and was also told it'll go away on its own. f**k that. if you see the bumps get them checked and if its molluscum get it treated right away, don't even chance this sh*t spreading, i've missed out on 3 months of my life, going on 4, because of this. I remember when I first had it, there were like 5 in the corner of my thigh and i tried to pop them because i thought they were pimples, and continued to try and pop them as more and more kept showing up over the next month, it drives me crazy to think I might have been able to have taken care of this so easily back then.
Today was my first cryo I will re-post in the month to follow to let you know how it goes for me, and the kid above said it best, at the very least it'll make you feel like you're doing something about it.

I would like to hear from people who had the freezing treatment with nitrogen. Does it leave a scare? I got one at the base of my penis on my scrotum where the skin is thinner and more sensitive. The doctor blasted it with the nitrogen gun the ring of quite a bit bigger than the target itself. Now I have this large purple circle which is not particularly appealing same for my inner thigh, large pink ring. It's been 3 days now but will it completely dissapear?

I'd been fighting at these bumps for about a year. I believe I contracted them through sharing towels in the condo on spring break. No idea really.
My bump started in one spot just below the right side of my shaft and began to spread. Knowing what they were would've been helpful at first, but I did end up spreading them with shaving. So don't use a razor. The razor spread them up my lower abdomen and around my lower shaft. Use clippers instead to trim and wash them.
Avoid sex for sure, if you can. If you can't, be sure to shower directly afterwards. Use a fresh towel every time. My girlfriend and I both contracted them simultaneously. We like our sex...and learned quickly that you must shower. I use Dial anti-bacterial bar soap. The bumps are a virus, I know. I think anti bacterial keeps your skin dryer so they don't thrive. My girlfriend uses lotions and moisturizers and you can tell hers are bigger.
Freezing Technique
About freezing, I honestly took wart remover freeze (Compound W) and stuck it on my most developed bump. It was the size of a wart and it was my first bump. It turned red at first, then scabby, then fell off after a week. No scarring if you let it scab and heal properly.
If you have the balls to stick the liquid nitrogen to your genitals like I did, be sure and reduce the amount of skin around the bump you are burning. My technique involved a bobby pin to pinch the bump and raise it from my surrounding skin. It stings like a b***h and the less unnecessary skin you freeze the better. Be sure and hold it for at least 10 seconds so it freezes deep. You can reuse the sticks a few times before they get to frozen to absorb more. So 8 applications should go a long way if you are frugal.
On my second round of freezing, I took out some of the mid size bumps around the base of my shaft. Once again, I used the bobby pin to pinch them but you will inevitably freeze some surrounding skin. This makes the little ones hurt more. I had a couple patches of 2-3 that I burned all at once. That scab peeled off as one unit. After the scabs peeled, the skin was pink and may leave a mark for a while. It's not really noticeable though...better than little contagious bumps for 2 years for sure.
I'm down to just a few little bumps on my abdomen and on my shaft. Once I get fully healed from the last application I will probably try to gently freeze off the remaining tiny bumps.
Deciding to freeze those bumps is the best decision I made through this situation. If you ask me, buck up and freeze off those big ones. It's only a little sting if you aren't reckless with the applications. Your sexual confidence is important and it'll be back in a week if you freeze them.
My girlfriend chickened out after trying to freeze one. I'm not sure if the vagina area is more sensitive, but I'm just noting that all of this information is from male experience.
ZymaDerm
My girlfriend and I both tried Zymaderm. This seems to work on the early stage smaller bumps on my penis closer to the tip and the spots on my lower abdomen. You've really gotta stick to the schedule on this. My girlfriend needed me to apply hers because she couldn't see well enough. She was unable to keep up on the applications when I was not there.
You can pick this up from Walgreen's for about 30 bucks.
Immune skin creams
We did try the omniquad cream 5% every other day, however you spell it. My girlfriend was given a prescription from the obgyn. We used it pretty solidly for about 3 weeks and started to run out. It's so expensive that we stopped. Not sure if it was working but some of my gf's bumps recently started to disappear about a month after stopping. They were rather large too and vanished rapidly.

Hey there. Going through a bit of a MC scare right now. I got diagnosed a little over three weeks ago and went through my first round of cryotherapy two weeks ago. Since that first treatment I have witnessed a massive increase in the amount of bumps/ lesions on my body. They were originally isolated Timmy groin area and have since spread to my stomach, elbow, ankles and arm. I'm becoming increasingly concerned that these will not heal any time soon. Do you have any advice outside of those 7 steps above? How serious was your case? Would love any and all advice.

Hi, sons had it aprox 2 yrs.
Tried everything, conzorol, molenol, tea tree, apple cider vinegar.
Still not going, aprox 50-80 over front body and neck area.
I'm considering freezing in stages.
