I personally had experience with this disease. It was very unpleasant for me. Molluscum contagiosum is a disease of the skin and mucous membranes. It is caused by a virus found worldwide and marked by scattered white pimples. Palms of the hands and soles of the feet are not affected. The disease occurs most often in children and in adults with a likelihood of getting an infection. It is carried from person to person by direct or indirect contact and lasts up to 3 years, although individual tumors last for only 6 to 8 weeks. Untreated, the tumors eventually disappear by themselves without scarring. I hope that information will help you.
