I had sex for the first time about two weeks ago. We used a condom, and it didn't break. We've done it several times since then, using condoms and never having them break.
I was due for my period on Monday and now it's Saturday. All I've gotten is very small amounts of blood starting Friday morning. Usually I have an extremely heavy period from start to finish, so this is odd...
So, what's up? Should this be cause for worry or is it normal for sex (first time) to mess with the flow of things?

this exact same thing has happened to me!! i was due for my period about a week ago, and today it finally started, but it's very light. usually, it's heavy the first two days and then it is lighter.

While the opposite happened to me (I actually got my period heavy and EARLY after I started having sex), sometimes sex can mess around with your cycle - especially if it's your first time and/or soon after.
If you're truly concerned about it, take a pregnancy test from a drugstore or visit your OB/GYN. Keep an eye on your symptoms, and don't freak yourself out. If it continues, or you miss your period the next month, definitely go to the doctor's to see if it's a problem, such as hormones.
If you've been using condoms and haven't had any breaking, or any sort of sex where semen came near your vagina, it's quite unlikely you're pregnant.
