I have been feeling really bad lately, and when I went into the doctor and described my symptoms, he suggested that I might well have multiple sclerosis. I now have to go in for an MRI scan to know for sure. Can anyone tell me what the MRI to diagnose multiple sclerosis is like? What should I expect?

Don't worry about the scan itself too much. You basically just have to lie there, very still, and they scan you. It does take a while, and it's a bit boring. But it is over soon enough, and the thing I think you should focus on is how to cope with your diagnosis. Living with multiple sclerosis can be tough, and you will need to adjust to your new diagnosis!
