Did I disvirgin my girlfriend?

My girlfriend and I had sex for the first time some time ago, it was so hard penetrating and I could only push in half-way, it was like I encountered barrier that obstructed me from moving farther and she tried to stop me many times. It continued that way till I released inside her. She asked if I did it, I lied and said yes but in truth I could not move beyond that barrier.We waited for a few minutes to hours and did it again, but this time she was more relaxed and I had a full penetration, she groaned in pain while I was pushing in and throughout the sex, but she did not bleed and when I asked her how she felt, She said it was like a mixture of pain and pleasure. Later, She told me of an experience she had with a certain guy a year before, who tried to dis-virgin her. She stopped him because it was painful, after few hours he re-tried but it wasn't as painful as the first attempt, so she felt it was not a deep penetration, perhaps he just concentrated on moving in and out on the outer region of her virgina or a half-way penetration just so he can release. But she saw a tiny blood stain on the bed-sheet and on her pant when the boy finished.She couldn't tell if the blood stain was during his first attempt or second. Please, was I the one who dis-virgined my girlfriend?
