Same thing, not sure if it's linked but almost went away when I reduced alcohol and sugar intake. Still have it and two raised lumps on the back of my throat.

While there could be a variety of causes for the lumps, some possible explanations include:

  1. Tonsil stones: These are small, hard masses that can develop in the crevices of your tonsils. They are often composed of bacteria and debris that get trapped in the tonsil tissue.

  2. Enlarged tonsils: If your tonsils are swollen or enlarged, you may feel lumps or bumps at the back of your throat.

  3. Lymphoid tissue: The back of your throat contains lymphoid tissue, which can sometimes be visible as small bumps or nodules.

  4. Throat infection: Certain infections, such as strep throat or tonsillitis, can cause inflammation and swelling of the tonsils and surrounding tissue.

The best course of action is to get your throat examined. Have you already had any tests?
