I had my gallbladder removed laparoscopically 10 days ago. My first operation ever. I am in good health, and the pain has gone away, but I am still having a difficult time with breathing. My internal dr checked my lungs which are clear and my oxygen level which is fine. Every other 12 breaths or so, I can't get in a deep enough satisfying breath which makes me very uncomfortable and at times panicky. It feels like stuff is bunched up or out of place under my front right ribs. It seems to me like I'm not getting in adequate air. My surgeon said my diaphragm was irritated at surgery. I find lying down in air conditioning helpful. Has anyone else experienced similar, know what this is, how much longer will last, any relief tips, cures, concerns, etc? Thank you!
