Found out something interesting earlier, i was talking to my sister about anxiety and she had it quite bad, when she was young she used to always have a headache and thought she had a brain tumor, also more recently she had very bad visible muscle twitches like i am having, she went to a neurologist and nothing was wrong. Is it possible I am having this anxiety because my sister did?? i mean if it was genetic wouldn't i get this from mum or dad??

Hi Marc: I get yourself and another young guy I "Inspire!!! ;-) " mixed up! Didn't you say that your dad suffered from this before too? And - please forgive me if this is wrong - but didn't your mum pass away a long time ago? ALL of these things are DEFINITELY linked! And honey let me tell ya, there are MORE and MORE young people on medications for depression! There is SO much to be stressed about and OVER stimulation around us! We forget how to relax and enjoy the little things!

After my mum passed away, if I had a headache I would think it was a tumour! This is just normal reaction to loosing someone we love! Because we cannot comprehend that someone left us so quickly! And IF it is your dad that suffered a little too, you would have been brought up with that energy! Does that make sense?! If you are brought up with someone that just says "Get yourself together it's nothing!" or someone that says "Oh honey! I think that cut will turn into Gangreen and your leg will fall off! " ;-) Then you are bound to grow up with the same thoughts. You've had a crappy year - no doubt about it - and I think you do need some more help! This isn't a life sentence Marc! It's a temporary fix for a temporary problem! So just know that you WONT be depressed for ever! You will start feeling better and then get on with your life and jsut think about the summer of 09 as a c**p year! And that's all!!!

So definitely get some help, when your dad gets a car! I CANNOT understand anyones ability to drive in Britain! It is TERRIFYING!!! The roads are so small!!! I thought one - 2 way road - was a bike path!!!!! LOL XD ;-) Anyway honey, just know that help IS coming and you WILL feel better! And CONGRATULATIONS in getting into College! Are you going to teach Language Arts - in particular SPELLING!!!! LOL ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) XD XD

OH! How I fear for the future of the world!!!!! LOL ;-) I know it's texting I have a 17 year old Texter of the Year! His thumbs are HUGE!!!!!!!! ;-) ;-) ;-) o.O XD XD XD He could play ping pong without a bat!!!!! LOL

I forget you guys go to college younger then our kids over here! I also blame the internet for ALL of the reactions that are created by people punching in their symptoms! You can have ANY illness, when you punch in a headache, or a twitch! One of my dearest friends actually called me and was crying and said "Dawn I think I have Uterine Cancer!!!" I was gob smacked I said "WHO SAID THIS!!!?" she said "I punched in my symptoms and it came up with Uterine Cancer!!!!!" I told her she didn't and then she HAD to go to the doctor = because she truly believed she had cancer - and it took her looking at the test results for her to realize she hadn't!!

Also being on the internet all the time - says she!!!! ;-) - is not a relaxing thing at all! Playing Video Games, TEXTING, Cell phones etc. Everything is ON 24/7! So we forget how to relax and be healthy! It is FAR easier to stay inside than get out there and be part of society!

I gt wt ur sayn ite?!!! How was that? I made it up!!! ;-) XD Just get some medical help and you WILL be able to feel "normal" again and you WILL get on with your life I PROMISE!!! As long as you take out the DJing! Pop, Chips, Smoking, etc. ;-) XD You have to help yourself too honey! And that is by getting out there, eating healthier, being healthier! Etc! This will only help you recover and stay healthy! Now get to bed it's 1:00am!!! ;-) XD

I was born in England! I moved here just before I was 11! I have been back several times - the last time 5 years ago with my husband and kids! We went to France too! It was GREAT!!! We flew via EasyJet from Marseilles to London for 10 pounds each!!!!!!! o.O I can't even get a cab for that here! If I was your age honey, I would be flying to a different country every weekend! It costs more for us to fly to other cities in Canada than it does to fly to Britain!!! I'll never understand that one! That's what I mean about getting out there kiddo! Once this is all taken care of! Go and travel! It's RIGHT there!!

It totally is in families. I know that my mom, my brothers and sisters, and my grandparents on my mom's side all suffer from it. It's a family issue so that's why I say it's a good idea to talk to people who aren't in your family about the actual issues. SOmetimes they make the issue worse, not better.

dude, either way you're dead. Die now or die later. Die young or die old. Either way, you're dead. Relax and enjoy it while it lasts, because you have absolutely NO control over anything. You might think you can control anything, but you can't. Relax and enjoy it...while it lasts =)

wow been so long since i made this thread, just to let anyone know, I'm still alive (kind of, feel dead lol) anyways just recently my breathing issues have come back, just today i had a massive panic attack (i hope) worst one i think i've ever had, could not breath at all and felt very dizzy with tingling in both fingertips. Scared the hell out of me, only this time i had been feeling really unwell for the last few weeks (some good days, some bad) symptoms include nausea, severe derealization, muscle twitching (still) eye floaters (still), Loss of appetite, Fatigue, Dizziness, Insomnia etc. I should add that I have been on Citalopram 20mg for the last month or so, as well as Zopiclone 7.5mg (I was stupid with the Zopiclone and ended up taking 5 a night at one point, used 28 tablets in under 1 week) also the occasional Phenegran (SP?) also I seem to notice my appetite returns when on Zopiclone and I end up feeling alot better (most days) so yeah, thought i would post back as now I seem to be returning to the old ways of breathing issues :( also not slept at all last night (Zopiclone ran out several days ago)

Anyone got any idea? of course me thinking the worst and feeling really down thinking I have anything from brain tumor to lung cancer to heart attack. Wishing these are just anxiety related because man do i feel do depressed with all this. Will be going to the doctor soon (again)
