Kind of the same thing going on with me...

I had what I described as a dull ache for about 5 days and decreased erection at which point I ended up in the emergency room and an ultrasound was done. They said I have a varicocele and sent me on my way. I already knew I had it as I've always had it my whole life basically. I then went to see the urologist that I was told I could make an appointment with. A urine sample, swab test, and finger up the butt later I was given a 10 day prescription of doxycycline and sent on my way. Things returned to normal and I was better. About a month later the same thing came back so I went to a walk-in and was given a prescription for ciprofloxacin for 10 days. So far both times it was guessed to be epididymitis. Well my 10 days of cipro are over and I'm not better. Rather than a dull ache in the right testicle now it's a bit of a sharper pain and feels like it's behind and below the testicle. I also have to struggle to even be able to get an erection. I don't know of any other symptoms. Please someone tell me there's hope or what might be wrong with me! :(

hey guys I am 25 years old and i've used to do some bodybuilding training , three months ago when I've finished my exercises at the gym I went back home as usual , but! I got that strange pain in the right lower part of my abdominal plus the right part of the loin.

first thought crossed my mind is that I got a (inguinal hernia) so i tied an object to my stomach tightly ,, after two days I was setting while my both legs left on the table in front of me , I've stayed like that for almost one hour , then when I lay down my legs my right thigh joint has clacked !! Then I felt so much comfort and the massive pain in my abdominal, it's just like started to disappear .

The second day i started to feel pain in inner part of my thigh! Going down to reach the end of the front part of the thigh muscle , then i went to visit an (internist doctor) he told me that there is nothing but some kind of muscle strain !! And a lot of medicines sure!

after two weeks the pain still the same , so I went this time to (general surgeon doctor) and he examined me while I was standing ; he asked me to turn my head to the left side and to cough and he pressed on the loin area hard till i felt that he has spotted the pain , after that he asked me to lay down on the bench and he left my right leg and also pressed on the loin area again till i felt a lot of pain ; he said that you got some kind of tendons inflammation due to left a heavy weight !! i told him that I've been doing bodybuilding exercises for too long , and its not my first time ,,,

any way he send me to an (orthopedic doctor) and also he has examined me and gave me lots of medicines and a menthol cream to apply on the thigh after doing some warm compresses , I've done that for so many days nearly to 14 days ! and I took the medication regularly ,,,,, but ! no interest !!

I came back to him to he checkup appointment and told him that the pain still the same and has not changed not one pit ,,,,, he gave me another three medicines and another menthol cream and another 14 days of same pain !!!

the second checkup he send me to do X-ray for the hip joint and for the lower back area ,, but no negative results as he said ,, and another 4 medicines and another 10 days ,,,,

third checkup when i told him that there isn't any improvement he send me this time to do the M.R.I imaging for the lower back !! although i never complained about my lower back ! also no negative results ,, and another 5 medicines and a cream !!!

now its been three months living with the same pain every day

once i set on the chair after a while it begins to hurt me and lately i started to feel the pain extend to groin muscle and also get sometimes the pain in the lower part of my abdomen

please someone help me , I think that I got Adductor canal block !!

I have the exact same symptoms. I have done extensive research and found that the best thing to do is to go to a doctor or Hospital, and get a full physical, and ultrasound to be sure. All the symptoms I researched came up to a few plausible conclusions... A tumor in the right testicle " not necessarily Testicular Cancer " but that would explain all the symptoms. To be absolutely sure of what is wrong, I would go to at least three different doctors and have them check. One is not enough, even if you go multiple times to the same doctor. If left untreated and it is cancer it can spread to the lymph nodes of the body, of course the ones closest first like in the right leg. Go to the doctor! No lump in the testis is normal. I go to the doctors today and I don't even have health Insurance. Well see what happens..

Please help 23 years old. Been to several doctors but I'm beginning to lose hope. Left testicle is a different shape now with mild pain, it's like a separate mushy sac in my scrotum above and to the side of the testicle. Been diagnosed with prostatitis and epididymitis and was on doxycycline and nsaids for months. Had a scrotal ultrasound which came back normal except for a slight varicocele on left side. Mild pain when ejaculating and shoots to my inner thigh. Also am having frequent urination and have been diagnosed with umbilical hernia...

I've had this same thing for 18 months. No lumps or cancer. Sitting on ice helps. But thats getting really old. Urologist says he sees it all the time, but yet didn't have a name for it. Do I have to go through the rest of my life like this? 18 months!!!

Hi,

Well, I'm now part of this elite group too!  I weightlifting in January, had a small pain in the lower back.  Next day, huge back pain and pain to the right testicule.  Except that I didn't have any bulge anywhere.  I waited a whole month, trained again - pain was worse.  Waited another month or so, went to hospital - had echography - they detected nothing.  Doc is pretty sure it's "only" severe back pain - because, everything is connected.  She gave me very strong anti-inflammatory medication.  After one day only - am getting better but, I have to take meds for a whole week, then I'll start training again.  I'm not sure if I'll do weights again - if not - push-ups, sit-ups, ect...  The pain was so excruciating that I even thought (for a moment only) to have my testicules removed!  People, if you train, make sure you have well warmed your body and don't over do it!

What became of this? I HAVE the exact same issue been bugging me for almost a year! I went to urologist in July but nothing determined. It seems like it could be a varicoele based on my online checks but with it being on the right side I heard that is rare and a cause for concern. Just pushed up my appointment to March 18th and gonna get a physical before going to the urologist

Hi, I'm the person who has the reply just above the other one.

I have taken some pretty strong anti-inflammatory meds, pain in right testicule has subsided to a GREAT degree but, is still there.  Doc has recommended I waited to have all the med before training again.  I'm waiting an extra month.  I have started doing push-up (1 push-up first day, 2 push-ups second day, 3 push-ups third day, ect...).

I have listened to MY OWN COMMON SENSE before going nuts and putting in my head I need an operation.  Time DOES heal.  I may need an operation but I am surely not there yet.  I believe people should look at their options before going there.  Not so much because they are scared but because being opened up is not good for your body altogether.

I am looking at the future positively.  I hope that my words will inspire others (who feel like I do or, are simply scared of being operated) to look for options before feeling hopeless.  THERE IS ALWAYS A WAY.

If is is not epididymitis it could be a varicocele. The varicocele can cause testicle / scrotum pain that radiates to the inner thigh, foot, lower back and abdomen. Have a doctor who specializes in Varicocele surgery check you out. The pain gets worse as the day goes on and you sit and feel the pain increase. When you stand and lie down the pain goes away. Make sure they do the examination while you are in the compressed position so the ultrasound or phyical inspection will show the bag of worms (dialated veins). The varicocele does not dialate the viens in the standing or lying down positions. Good luck.

I think I have the same thing as you because i sit with my right leg rotated over my left and I've been having the irritation problem in my left groin. I think I've done it for too long already because it has been hurting already for a few weeks now. I'm trying now to not put any pressure on it for a while, and see if it goes away...
