You might want to look into/ask your physician about Orthostatic Hypotension.

I am so glad to hear that Im not the only one this happens to. Thinking back, the description listed by others describes me tho. I definitely lean hy head really far back, so thats probably what it is. I'll need to ask my doctor about this.

I've finally found others who have the same problem. I've been to doctors and they have diagnosed me with orthostatic hypertension, which is when you stand up our stretch you pass out or nearly pass out, and the only thing I notice is that I won't remember falling and I start shaking very violently and I can't breathe

It brings me relief to see a thing about this. For years I've had this type of thing happening to me.. today was the worst time it's gotten. It mostly starts when I stretch backwards. There have been times I have been in a car and stretched backwards and the feeling is odd but almost euphoric. Everything goes white and fuzzy, sounds like a very low humming sound in my ears but I am very confused "durring" this period only for a few seconds. There have been a few times I forget where I am "durring" the time but never after. This morning really had me scared. While I was sitting in my basement I got up and started feeling the "fuzzy" feeling but then woke up on the ground with gashes on my tounge and in extreme panic. My first thought was a seizure, but this only happens when I either sit down and stand up suddenly or stretch backwards.

a similar(ish) thing happens to me many times a day. whenever stretch, get very dizzy, and collapse to the floor. i wouldnt call it passing out though. i cant move for at least 30 seconds, though it feels longer, while on the floor a pain in my head gradually grows. i feel dizzy and when i get up i feel so out of it i can barely say anything. im not sure what it is or if its bad enough that you need to see a docter though

I do this as well and got tested. I was told it's because when I stretch i basically " turn off, then back on" that's what I was told atleast. I didn't get this heart thing your talking about though. But I do get to see and feel some weird stuff when it happens

I came across this article trying find out what is going on with me, I've had a very similar experience. When I yawn and put my head back I get really dizzy and I suddenly can't see anything but black, my whole body starts to feel numb and tingly and it feels as if the ground is shaking and I suddenly lose my balance. I've had these black out spells since I was about 10 years old and I am 14 now but it never seemed very serious to be before until today when I stood up and I yawned and tilted my head bad and the next thing I knew is that I was on my hands and knees. It only lasted for about 30 seconds but it's really starting to scare me even tho it only happens now and then its much more serious to me now. If ANYONE has had a similar situation and knows why or what exactly the cause of this is PLEASE let me know:)

There isn't one answer. Stretch Syncope can cause these symptoms, but so can mild hypovolemia, Postural hypotension(a bit more general), POTS, Benign Positional Vertigo, and a number of other conditions.

Most of these conditions happen because the body doesn't spend all day in stretching positions. Therefore random things get pinched, or stuff moves that otherwise wouldn't in other positions.

This happens to me once a week or so, always from stretching - even if I'm lying down. It is EXACTLY like what we called a "nervy" in college - where you stand bent over like you're touching your toes, hyperventilate for 30 seconds, then stand up quickly with someone behind you putting pressure to squeeze your jugulars shut - almost instant faint, and exact same feeling.

So, I believe the "temporary oxygen shortage" theories are a good bet.

Ok,its me again, i have and update, a while ago i stretched while i was watching a show on my tablet, when i did, i thought i was still watching the show for about 5 seconds then every thing went black. I "woke up" on the floor, my entire body shakin. My mom was worried what happend(because of the loud bang of me hitying the ground) but when i explained it she just said i need to be More active, though i think it's more, i had an ice pack on my head for a while and my legs shaked for an hour and a half,

Could these be seizures?
