Good day everyone. I am pregnant (three months). I was feeling good at the beginning, no problems, no nausea. But for the last couple of days, I have some weird feeling in my stomach. I know that those are stomach cramps and I was reading a lot about this lately on the internet.

I know that this maybe is not dangerous, but I can't tell this alone. Anyway, I am planning to tell this to my doctor but I don't know what he can tell me. Since I was reading that this is not that dangerous, I was wondering do I need to mention my pregnancy stomach cramps to my doctor?

Yes, I think that you should definitely tell your doctor if you are experiencing any stomach pain during pregnancy. It is true that most women are experiencing this kind of pain during pregnancy but you see, this can also be caused by some serious and dangerous conditions and disorders so it would be smart for you if you would mention this to your doctor. He might want you to do some tests if he thinks that there is anything serious going on here. At least after doing these tests you will be okay, you know, you will have a proof that everything is okay.

I agree with Chocolate Bar, I think that you should talk to your doctor about this even though stomach cramps during pregnancy are kind of a common thing, you know. You are doing this more because of your baby than you are doing it because of you, you are probably okay but talk to your doctor just in case, you know, because these cramps can indeed be caused by some nasty conditions and disorders again just like Chocolate Bar said, so just do it, it doesn't cost you anything to talk to your doctor. At least you will feel better after you talk to him.

I think that you should mention it to your doctor if you are going to talk to him already, just so he can know what's going on. If he thinks that there is something wrong going on, he will ask you to tell him about some other symptoms that you might be having, he will ask you about the exact location of your pain and he might tell you to do some tests just in case. Just go along with whatever he tells you to do but I don't think that there is anything to worry about, these stomach cramps during pregnancy are common.

Hey guys. Thank you for trying to help me. My main problem is because I don't know how to describe those pains that I feel to my doctor. I am afraid that he won't be able to understand me because I am really scared.

I am feeling a bit better now. For the last couple of days those cramps were minor, but now I have this feeling that it is going to be bad again and that is why I don't know what to do. I don't have any experience with this cramps, this is my first pregnancy and I think that my doctor can tell me that I am overreacting a bit. I don't know.

Hey there! Tell me for how long do you feel this pain? It is normal to feel some pain in the early pregnancy. It is nothing unusual and you are not the only one who had this pain. But, I agree with other members who told you that every change and every pain you should report to your doctor. And why do you think that your doctor won't trust you about your cramps and pain?

That is normal! Sure that he is going to believe you. It is a common thing to all pregnant ladies but it should not be hidden from your doctor.

Hey there. I am feeling this pain for - well, a long time now. First, I believed that this is nothing that I need to worry about, but after this, when I noticed that this pain and stomach cramps are persistent, I saw that I have some reasons to be worried (maybe). I do know that a lot of ladies can feel this pain but I don't know what to do. Is there any way to heal this? Maybe I can do something at my own home to make this pain go away? I just don't believe that this is because of some serious and dangerous things...I am at the end of my wits and don't know what to do.

What do you mean when you say that you don't know what to do about abdominal pain in pregnancy?

Look lady - it is your baby, your pregnancy! If you won't take care of it, who will? Stop being irresponsible and stop running away from your responsibilities.

Go to see your doctor and tell him what do you feel, tell him that you are in pain. He will believe you because YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE who has problems with it. You have a bunch of links here on steady health, you can read so many things about this. And no - you CAN'T heal this alone at your home!
