have you had to these pills or have asthma or a breathing problem
OMG you guys. I just ran this search about Advair because I've been on it since like 2005 (9 years) and have had a slow buildup of weight and no amount of walking and using the Bellicon (a sort of trampoline for exercise) and dieting works! I thought it was for other reasons but I've never experienced this sort of issue in my entire life. I am now going to experiment and get off my Advair slowly. How insane! Pisses me off that the medical community does not investigate this!
I understand what with what your going through. When my asthma first started I was taking prednisone and some other med. I gaine 80 pounds in a matter of months. 23 years later I am still struggling with my weight and getting my asthma under control...it's sad and frustrating...
make sure you get your doctor working for you not for the pharmaceuticals companies.
How did your experiment work out? Did you loose weight by cutting out salt and still take advair?
thanks

It is well documented that corticosteroids can cause weight gain. Advair is a type of corticosteroids steroid. If you're taking Advair AND Prednisone you're double screwed. Get off both medications if you want to lose weight.
No weight gain for me on Advair
Actually, hypes me up. I am trying to gain weight, but unable to.I eat carbs, but no red meat, and have one cup coffee in AM. Water all day. So tell me how to gain weight.
