Do they really count for you anymore? I realized today that they don't cuz it was like a different era in my life...

So, I've thrown out the old records and started new!

How about you?

Different era, different type of training, much younger. HS pr's are a thing of the past.

I think these days I am a smarter runner. There is more information out there about nutrition, etc.

Since you couldn't have paid me to run in HS, I don't have any pr's from that era that involve running.

The only PR's I set were in alcohol consumption and I'm not about to try to beat those.

I wish I still had the speed I had in high school! I used to go out and do a 6 miler and come in averaging like 6:40 a mile, and feel good. Not exhausted, good! If I run a 10K @ 6:40 a mile now, I am beyond estatic! And completely wiped out!

Ditto.

I was just trying to calculate my PR for travelling between the couch, the kitchen and the remote control

I thought I'd never touch my HS times again, especially something like my 5km time which was what every cc race was. But lo and behold 2 years back, everything fell in place and I cracked it. So I still feel the possibility that new PRs are out there for a few more years.
