Teenmom17, you could have a wide variety of things going wrong in your body internally that could be making you feel this way.
For one thing, you just had a baby 10 months ago, you are a teenager and I'm quite sure having an infant at your age is very stressful and draining emotionally, mentally and physically.
The stomach aches/pains, mood swings, exhaustion and loss of appetite and weight gain, could be due to a hormonal imbalance or possibly a thyroid problem. Have any of the medical professionals you have visited suggested a CBC (complete blood panel) to check your hormone/thyroid levels? If not, ask to have this done as it could be one of those conditions, which can be treated using medications, dietary modification and other recommendations from your treating physician.
If nothing is found on the CBC, it could very well that you are depressed. It is not up to you to determine whether or not you are clinically depressed, this is only a diagnosis that can be made by a mental health professional.
Another possibility is endometriosis or PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome)....which have similar symptoms and you should be tested for as well
If none of these things work, getting repeated scans is probably NOT going to indicate anything that the Dr. has not noticed before. My suggestion is to get the blood test, change your diet over to include healthy, protein rich foods, get outdoors (weather permitting) and go for a walk and read up on the "Treating Depression Naturally" articles here on Steadyhealth, which contain a wealth of useful information. I hope you feel better soon.

Hi honey! I decided to answer you through here and not the other site! I know what is going on with your life and I have to agree with the doctors about depression! I KNOW that anyone who is depressed, can NOT believe that all these terrible physical things can be related! BUT they are, there is IBS - which some doctors STILL believe is more to do with depression, there is obviously ulcers, acid reflux etc. BUT do you have more symptoms after eating something fatty? This could definitely be about your gallblader - which can lead to sharp pains, vomiting etc! BUT unfortunately we are going to have to wait till that is done 1st! I KNOW you are going through hell right now, and believe me I also know that MANY of your symptoms match classic depression!
1. Nausea, Painful stomach!
2. VERY upset about regular day things!
3. Weight gain or loss!
4. general aches and pains
5. Anxiety
6. Lethargy, not wanting to do anything!
ETC. ETC. ETC. There are hundreds of symtpoms of depression!
I know to you it sounds like I am saying it's in your head, I'm NOT! Depression is an ILLNESS as real as the Flu! As real as Cancer etc. You CANT shrug it off, or "snap out of it!" you HAVE to have counselling and to be treated!
IF it turns out to be your gallbladder or acid reflux that is one thing - BUT that wouldn't make you put on weight or cry over regular things! As i have said to you in other posts, you NEED more help then what you have! You need just as much help as the others we have talked about!
I am sure you are disapointed with my explanation, but I guarantee you - that this IS a physicaal situation! Cyber hugs!

Well I go tomorrow for a gallbladder ultrasound. But now something else has showed up. Right under my left breast in the ab area I have a softball size hard lump underneath my skin!! I'm scared bc the ultrasound will not pick it up on what it could be bc they are doing it on my gallbladder which is the other side of my stomach. And it hurts when I barely touch it does anyone know what this is????? Could it be cancer bc it is hard and unmoveable and painful?????????????????????????????????????????????? :'( :'( :-(

Before you go tommorrow, phone your doctor - the one that ordered the ultrasound, and tell him/her about the lump, perhaps he/she could fax through a request to have that looke at too! Did the lump just show up like overnight?!

Well I tried to call my doc. and I could not get in touch with him. So I broke down and went back tot he hospital. And the doctor there found out without running test or anything. All he did was look at my stomach and he knew right away what was wrong. I have an (Abdominal Wall Hernia) and it has been growing all these months. He told me that since its soft enough that he can push it in a little bit that I dont need emergency surgery, but I need to call my doctor ASAP in the morning and have him write me a referal to see a surgeon so either way I have to have surgeory within the next week or so. So I'm glad you replied and I wanted to keep you informed.

HOLY COW!!! I've heard of the lower abdominal hernias but not that far up!!! That's awesom! Hernias are VERY fixable!!! thanks for letting us know honey! That's something for my Roladex!!! ;-) XD

Well I had the ultrasound this morning and well I got more bad news. The results came back and I have 15 gall stones and they have to be surgically removed. So now I have to have 2 different surgeries at one time. I'm supposed to g onext thursday but they are going to try to get me in before then bc the hernia is growing rapidly. And the gall stones are trying to pass through and they are to big. I just wanted to update you.

Well I went back to the ER last night. I got rushed by an ambulance to my local hospital. The hernia has moved but just my luck I got a stupid ass doctor and he told me I was stupid. That I dont have a hernia and that my doctor was wrong. But my thing is 2 other professional doctors found this hernia. The hernia is now in my stomach so now I'm just waiting for the surgeon to call back so he can get me in faster. The hernia is attached to my main artery of my heart and they are scared that is is going to rupture. Anyone have any advice. The nurse at the surgeons office says I should go to the other hospital and get admitted in so they have to do a emergency surgery
Loading...
DEFINITELY! Go to another hosptial, ALSO your bloody doctor should be phoning around to get you in right away! There is a lot of information here - contradicting each other!!!!!! You either have a stomach hernia or you don't! And when the hell did they mention about a aeorta hernia!!!?

Well supposively now its not a hernia they ar saying it is air bubbles AGAIN. So my husband is getting fed up with all of this and the best hospital around here is 2 1/2 hours away from here so he said if I have any more pains then we are going to find a way up there and get this fixed. Because they did last night was a catscan and say oh you are constipated but I dont understand how I can be "backed up" when I have diahrea all the time. And I dont know anymore I'm just tired of hurting. But I am still going to have to have surgery for the gall stones. So this whole thing is complicated and aggervating as well. :'(

Just letting you know that you can still be backed up and have diarhea! Since they did the cCatscan, I will tell you that they would have definitely seen a hernia! When you first said that you had a hernia at the top, I was thinking "I've never heard of that" So I think what that doctor said was c**p! If you research hernias, it is never up on top! And air bubbles CAN caus a disention in your intestine!
