I am a 36 year old male and this evening found a lump on my right testicle. it is not painful but feels like it is about the size of a marble. It isn't round though, more like pyramid shaped. It definitely is not a part of my testicle and has me concerned. Should I consult with a urologist about it or is a GP qualified to make a diagnosis?

I am a 36 year old male and I have a large ball that is over 2 times bigger than my testicles in my scrotum that I first felt 5 days ago.  I recently had a prostate exam, so this has added to my concern that this is testicular cancer.  But it might also be an inguinal hernia, or an epididymis cyst, or a hydrocele.  This "third ball" doesn't hurt, but it is very strange.

PLEASE respond! I have this problem on my right testicle. The nurse did the usual check-up and felt them for lumps as usual, but I think she might've missed this lump. At the time, it was pretty small. It still is, but I feel like it's getting bigger slowly. My worst fear is cancer. The lump itself is situated on the testicle itself, just right of the tubular thingies. I am only 14, but I am worried out of my mind. I never thought of this happening, and I am scared to death. Please respond to this as soon as possible! Thanks in advance! ~Jason

i have a lump on my left testicle, id say its marble sized maybe a little bigger or smaller. Its right on top of my epididymis, ive had it for quite some time and had it checked by a doctor a few years back, but i feel like he missed it and at the time i was only 12 so you can imagine how awkward it was, is there any kind of "self test" i can do to determine if i should go to a doctor? im 18 now.

also it is quite hard, it is not very "squishy" its more or less the same density as my testicles.

I feel a hard lump in my right ball sack that is not attached to anything. It is a bit less than 1 cm on all axis. I'm only 13. Can it be a cancer?

Hi
The best thing to do is talk to your parents about the lump and get them to make you an appointment to see your doctor.
It could just be a cyst or something like that.
Since your only 13 and it's not attached to your testicle it could be nothing to worry about.
Seeing your doctor is the only way to find out what it is, you will get a proper diagnoses based on examining you and tests and that is what you need.
Getting it checked by your doctor will put your mind at ease and you will know what it is for sure.
It hopefully is nothing to worry about but the only way to know for sure is by seeing your doctor.
I know it's difficult to talk about things like this with parents but you really should so you can get it checked out properly.
It is better to get checked as soon as you can so please ask them to make you a doctors appointment to get it checked.
