Hi. I had a collagen plug used to repair an anal fistula. The hospital and Humana says I'm stuck with the bill because Medicare doesn't cover this surgery. Is this true? Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure if it is true but I think thta you should fight the billing because it does sound like it's medically necessary--after all, without fixing a fistula, you could go into sepsis. Who at the hospital can you talk to?
