Hello,

I’ve been suffering from plaque psoriasis for the last 3 years and it seemed like I finally had some relief from plaques after a round of Humira. Unfortunately I got a very bad strep throat infection and despite my physician reacting immediately with penicillin shots, I developed guttate psoriasis as well. From this point, things have just gone downhill for me. While I was still on strep throat treatment my knees and ankles became extremely painful and swollen and once the strep throat cleared with no positive change in swelling, I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis, as well. My dermatologist and rheumatologist both agree I should go on either Reclast or Humira, but neither of them is able to tell me will I have to deal with arthritis for the rest of my life.
