Hello! I have Lyme disease. I don’t even recall being bitten by a tick. I remember getting a rash, but I thought it was sun reaction but my mom took me to hospital when I developed high fever and breathing problems. At the hospital, they recommended me dr. Sam Donta from Boston. It is said he is specialized in Lyme disease. Did anyone see dr. Donta? What kind of experience did you get with him? Thank you!

Hi! Sorry I can’t help you much concerning experience. I was only reading about him and his work regarding lyme disease. My mother suffers from lyme, but he lives too far away from us. I heard he is really good. I read somewhere that he suggests treating lyme with antibiotics for 6 months or something. I think he uses tetracycline or drugs like erythromycin that can kill bacteria inside cells. Many people thought that was like too long to take antibiotics but other doctors said it is dangerous if you take antibiotics for over a year. If you live near Boston why not give it a go! I wish you good luck!
