I'm 18 and I have hip dysplasia. It's been only 3 months since I found out that I have it. I've got them for both my legs. My doctor said I need to get surgery 3 times.
1. Surgery for right leg, another one for left leg, and a year later, the final one to take out the material that they put to make the bones stable??? I'm wondering if there's any other way to fix it besides surgery and how other people deal with dysplasia.

I have a 10 weeks old son who has hip displasia at birth. I am very confused with this condition. Now my son is wearing the pal harness and he going for x-ray for the first time next month. According to his pediatrician orthopedic his hip is getting better. He had taking ultrasound for the third times and the funny thing is the ultrasound building is located in different places with the treatment place. The treatment time and the ultrasound time are different in half hour and the doctor never has the ultrasound pictures in every different treatment. The only thing that the pediatrician has is the little note from technician and then he goes on to determine that my son condition is getting better. I am very frustrated with this hip displasia.
