The exact thing is happening to me as well. I'm worried at this point and made an appointment with my doctor to make sure I never had a miscarriage or something! It's comforting to hear I'm not the only one. His never happened when they had the two pill format
Wow. Thanks. Its a total relief to hear that. I've had mine for two weeks now, but its very light. I hope it stops soon.
So on May 21st I had unprotected sex and my boyfriend cum inside. I went to Walmart straight after and bought plan b. A few days later I got brownish discharge and spotting then turned into heavier flow of blood. And after taking plan b I started my birth control a few days after being off it for a month. So my period lasted for like 3 weeks. I started a estimate of May 25th and ended on June 12 or 13th. Now it's July 23 and I havnt had my second period after play b. I'm starting to worry because it's been a long time since it's came. I feel like I'm going to start soon but day after day nothing comes. I've had sex a few times after plan b, but he always pulled out and I've been on my birthcontol so idk what to think. I'm scared to tell my mom or take a pregnancy test. And my brown pills in the birthcontol pack is coming and also the time when I started my period after taking plan b. I read that plan b can delay your period, but I started taking birthcontol after and also my period lasted 3weeks so idk if I'm pregnant or if my cycle is delayed because of all the hormones. If anyone has been in the same situation or may know the reason please let me know. I searched up online and felt kinda better that it can delay your period but I'm still nervous.
Did you get pregnant? And did your period stop eventually? After how long? I'm in the same situation and I'm really worried
I recently took plan B because I was worried about precum. I didn't start until the 15th of September and I'm still on it now. It's really annoying but I guess it's supposed to be this way. I was in so much pain on the first 3 days and I usually have a short period that's kind of painful but nothing like that. And I still am heavy til this day and it's been atleast a week and a half by now. Plus I've gotten sick twice. I'm not sure if this is normal but you're not alone.
I have the ANSWER... my wife and I had intercourse on 8th day of her menstruation cycle and I gave her PLAN B( Indian brand- I pill- drug name LEVONORGESTREL) within 24 hours... She started her menstruation 8-10 days after that (10-12 days in advance)... She had bleeding for continuous 11 days.. we went to Gynec and he did some tests and sonography... He suggested that a procedure known as D & C( DILATATION AND CURRETTETION) needs to be performed under anaesthesia to clear the waste tissues in the uterus. THE procedure takes 10-15 mins and you'll be discharged from hospital in 2-3 hours.. I am writing this while my wife is undergoing this procedure.. I feel very guilty for giving her that pill... She has to undergo such troubles...
My suggestion to all of you is please take other measures of contraception until it's extremely necessary to take PLAN B/ I PILL/ LEVONORGESTREL...

I agree wholeheartedly. Do not take levonorgestrel MAP unless it's really necessary!
I took it on 4 Jun 16, had light bleeding for a few days from 13 Jun and menses did not come in July but it came back with a vengeance in August and became completely unpredictable. Moderate bleeding from 16-19 Aug with blood clots, days of heavy and light bleeding with blood clots from 23 Aug till 9 Sep. Sudden heavy flow on 15 Sep, light flow 21-23 Sep and from 25 Sep onwards till today (yes, it's 19 Oct), it alternates between days of heavy, moderate and light flow. There were lots of blood clots, some being rather large.
I finally did an ultrasound and saw my gynaecologist yesterday who found lots of tissue, blood and 2 ovarian cysts. I was becoming severely anaemic and the bleeding shows no sign of stopping anytime soon so she scheduled a D&C for me today. Now I'm back home resting after the D&C and regretting taking the MAP. It really screwed me up badly. While she told me the MAP should probably affect your menses just that 1 month after consumption, she wasn't able to explain what had happened since then. However, I have always had regular periods and my last checkup was done just over a year ago... So there was no other reason why my menses would suddenly go haywire other than the MAP.
Girls.... Please be careful! I hope no one has to go through what I have gone through again.

The same this is happening to me I took the plan b a month ago I had my period a week before I took the pill and after taking the pill I've been on my period for a month I'm scared
why didnt you feel scared when you were having sex
These women are obviously scared, I know I am. Go be a penis splat somewhere else.
Were you pregnant?
I will never ever take another plan b!! From what I've read online if you take the pill while your ovulating it can make you bleed more. I took one the next day after sex because we did the pull out method and then I realized I was ovulating a week later I got my period early and I bleed for 12 days! Then it finally stopped. I figured my regular cycle would return to normal but that has not been the case my next month period was super late and I've had it now for 10 days and it's lite period but it's super red and it smells fishy I don't know if I have a yeast infection I've never had one before. I just want my cycle to be back to normal!!! Never again!
I know that if you're looking at this right now, you or your S.O. Is on the 10th day of their period. You won't find any good answers on this page, just more problems. I was in the same boat. BUT I CAME BACK. And all I have to say is don't worry. So story is, had sex with girlfriend, condom broke, didn't notice til after, rushed to Walmart, she took plan b, this was Friday. Following Thursday she starts her period (way the hell early) keeps going forever. This Thursday (two weeks later) she's off and everything is 100% okay. Seriously, don't worry.
