Yes the same thing was happening to me. I went up to 13 days and on the 13th day I went to see a doctor and they told me I wasn’t pregnant nor was anything wrong with my uterus. So they put me on a pill to stop my heavy bleeding and then they put me on a hormonal pill (birth control) to help regulate my period. When you take plan b your horomones go out of wack so that’s why you have such an irregular period after you take it! I hope this helps!

This is actually happening to me too. I took mine on the 18th. I was spotting on and off from the 19th until the 24th. I went back to work about 4 days ago and it's been extremely heavy.. like too much.. it's exaggerating in a way when I talk about it, but it's really like that. I was wondering if it was happening to other people because it's not slowing down or calming down at all. And it looks like I got stabbed and I've had to change my pants at work because it's been so heavy.

That's perfectly normal for you, you shouldn't have taken it though, if the condom didn't break and was fine... Also there's a difference between female and male cum in scent and texture

So on my birthday me and my boyfriend made love and the condom got stuck inside me. I wanted to take extra precaution so I made him go get a plan B pill. We tried getting the condom out will no luck but it just came out in the toilet two days later. Well I started my period a few days later and the same thing has happened to me. I'm going on day 12 now and I normally have 4-5 day long periods. I was obviously really concerned by what google was saying until I found this thread. So it's just symptons of plan b? Should I have any additional worries?

I had unprotected sex and took the generic Plan B, called Take Action or something, the same night (the normal Plan B was out of stock and I really didn't wanna wait in case I forgot to buy and take it later.) About a week and a half later, I got on a birth control pill for the first time ever. 3 days into the pill (April 4th) I got the emergency contraceptive period I had been expecting. That was 3 weeks and 1 day ago today (April 26). The bleeding was light and brown the first day, heavy and red for a couple of days, and the rest of the time it has been brown and spotty looking. Some days it'll fill a tampon, some days it won't. I feel like it's getting lighter but it's still here. I'm about to get to the placebo birth control pills and I'm worried the periods will be back to back, making it a whole month of having my period, or the emergency contraceptive period will still be going and the birth control period will never come because it'll delay until this period is over and this period is still ongoing. I've taken multiple pregnancy tests and they're all negative. I was thinking of going to the doctor for hormone correctors because I'm worried or skipping my placebo pills entirely but I'm no sure I should mess with my hormones anymore??

Hi, just wondering how long your period lasted? I’m in the same situation.

When did it end? And did it just end on its own

They have since found out plan b does not affect the ability of an already fertilized egg to embed to your uterine wall. It's not enough hormone to cause change in mice hence it's not enough for a human. Plan b is a synthetic progesterone which is what your body will make more of when you are pregnant to help the embryo grow so taking something that actually helps pregnancy along will not make your uterus a hostile environment like they once thought.
Oh and the veins you are referring to.....umbilical cord.

Sorry i randomly chose one of the comments here to share my experience, as I found when I was dealing with the same issue it was almost impossible to find out what ended up happening to the people complaining of those symptoms, and nothing I read online could really make me feel better, so I’m just trying to be helpful :)
So, I took plan b 3 days after my period ended (a day or two before my ovulation time) - my partner did not ejaculate inside me, he pulled out but we were not sure if there was any precum. Anyways, I took plan b within 24 hrs. Started getting intense breast tenderness (more on one side) 5 days later. Started getting spotting/minor bleeding/brown&pink in color with minor cramping a week later. Had that for 10 days (it seemed to start decreasing in the last few days) - then, on day 10 my breast tenderness was almost gone and I got heavier more my period-like bleeding (+ some cramps). That was actually the day I was supposed to get my next period if I didn’t take plan b. Had a pretty heavy bleeding for the next 3 days (was contemplating going to the hospital, but due to lack of any pain decided against it). On the fourth day the bleeding got noticeably less and within the next few days completely stopped.
So to summarize - depending on your body and the time of your cycle that you take plan b, you can have spotting and intense breast tenderness for over a week but still get your regular period around expected time. That is my experience and I’m just trying to make the people who are going through it now feel better. The pill does mess with your hormones so your cycle might be a little less stable for the next month or so, so try to be more safe and use condoms.

Weird that's exactly how it's been for me and I'm worried that it is spotting which is a symptom of early pregnancy.

I took plan b and got my period 5 days later. However, it has lasted for ELEVEN days now, whereas they usually last 5 at most. When will this end?
