Facial hyperhydrosis – that is my diagnose. I have just returned from the doctor where I was told that this condition is the name for my constant sweating . I was explained that it was most often because of the damaged sympathetic nervous system and its hyperactivity. Now, I am interested in therapy. They will try to find some underlying condition that caused my trouble. I am also interested in possible surgery. Is there one?

Well, I suppose that you could wait a bit longer and see whether the doctors will find some cause for your problem. Perhaps you will be using glycopyrrolate solution. It is proven that it helps in this condition, although you have to take it always. As for surgery there is thoracic sympathectomy, it is a procedure that is not so available everywhere.
